[4.0] "It was a good idea but in hindsight looking back on it the booking was awful. A lot of teams had no business being in it and Rhyno & Baron Corbin Vs Finn Balor & Samoa Joe is an awful final for a Tag Team tournament seeing as neither of those are teams. Should have waited a year as by then they had a very strong tag team division."
[5.0] "Mittelmäßiges Turnier. Obwohl das Ganze recht offen und natürlich zu Ehren Dusty's gehalten wird, hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass auch mal legitime Tag-Teams, die von so einem Turnier-Sieg profitieren hätten können gewonnen hätten. So hatte man 4 Singles Wrestler in den Final-Matches. Trotzdem nett, dass man so Balor und Joe etabliert hat. Gesamt 5 Punkte."
[8.0] "Loved this tournament, had many great matches and gave the Revival there big break. The only complaints I have is the fact that not being able to see a few of the matches prevented most of the lesser known competitors chance of getting a spotlight and the semis/finals could have been a lot better."
[2.0] "This whole tournament was a bust and a farce. It was messy all over. 1. You had too many matches off-TV. 2. You had your tag team champions get pinned in the tournament so early and also OFF TV. 3. The winners chosen were used to forward a start to an extremely bland feud and didn't even use it for a twist in the tournament. 4. Having everyone getting deflated that Jordan and Gable were eliminated before we get to the finals, is a real way for people to be excited. 5. The finals match was so boringly worked and the selling from Balor when he had his leg tweaked earlier in the night was non-existent and it was so dull that it didn't feel like they earned the heartfelt speech about Dusty Rhodes. Another thing, Dusty barely knew these guys so having these guys accept the award and practically doing no work for it, makes this whole tournament an insult to Dusty's legacy. Please fix it next year."
[7.0] "Ein gutes Turnier welches wieder einmal bei NXT gezeigt wurde. Natürlich waren einige Teams oder auch einige Matchausgänge fragwürdig, aber wie schon gesagt ein gutes Turnier. Schade dass man einige Matches nicht im TV sehen konnte, z. B. hätte ich gerne Tag Champs vs Blake/Murphy gesehen, aber das war auch nicht das Problem."
[8.0] "Insgesamt war das denke ich schon ein echt starkes Tunier. Klar gab es null Story, aber dafür war es ja auch ein Tunier.... Dazu konnte man leider nicht alle Matches sehen, aber die die man bei NXT im TV oder beim Respect Special zu sehen gab waren allesamt gut. Also gebe ich dem Tunier auch die Wertung "Gut"."
