[8.0] "Difficult one because while she was only over for being incredibly pretty she at the very least tried to improve her wrestling skills towards the end of her WWE run. Sure throughout most of her career she couldn't wrestle her way out of a paper bag but one must not forget that this was also a time when women's wrestlers weren't being properly trained, were discouraged from wrestling anything other than the "catfight" style and weren't taken seriously at all by both the business and fans who sexualized the girls to death. Thankfully Finlay and others in development helped the women's division improve and get over because they desperately needed the help."

Despite nearly 300 matches, she also failed to provide a decent opponent for the more talented performers of her era, and typically made them seem worse for having been paired with her."

Don't get me wrong, there were good women wrestlers during that era, Torrie isn't one of them. She was just there to be eye candy. I do feel bad for her and the many women who suffered at the hands of this era and what they had to put up with."

She seemed to be used as an "Erotic Expert" so to speak with her constant Bra & Panties Matches against her storyline mother-in-law Dawn Marie. She had good matches when there were men to handle the heavy workload, but I was always surprised that she was never Women's Champion. Even a week-long reign seemed like it was appropriate for her. I guess that due to WWE's misuse of women at the time, we'll never know just how good she really was."

She wasn an absolute horrible wrestler in the ring, she wasn't good on the mic at all but I am not really mad at her getting into the HoF because it's a joke anyway."

[3.0] "If there's anyone who deserves to win a title for most fans viewing them with rose tinted glasses, it's Torrie Wilson. I like to look at everything on both sides but honestly in deep thinking, there's not too much to realistically compliment Torrie Wilson on. I will literally list her pro's simply - 1: She seems like a chilled nice lady off screen. 2:She seems to actually love the business as opposed to some other divas 3:She was pretty. Now the negatives will sadly be more descriptive so let's start with the simple fact, she wasn't very good at anything. She couldn't cut a promo and either looked like she was way too nervous to be out there or looked blankly sprouting words. Her main storyline of her career was her dramatic feud with Dawn Marie over Torrie's Dad, but she never gave a convincing performance once. If a female wrestler is clearly there for her appearance and lesser on wrestling technique then they should be able to pull of a believable seductress which Torrie couldn't as a heel. As a face, she had more of the look blankly as she portrays a random roster pick's girlfriend. In terms of wrestling ability i do read a lot of comments that all include "she improved" and yes, after 8+ years i'd hope so but was it really enough? For majority of her tenure she was sloppy enough for it to be believable that she only started training in the last few months. She couldn't work/lift/sell but she was forgiven for being pretty. All wrestlers start as non wrestlers, they aren't born with a gift to wrestle but the issue lies that the women around her were learning and improving at greater speed. No harm in learning slower, but Torrie only really seemed to she she's learned anything in her final WWE year and frankly it wasn't enough. She even seemed sloppy doing her standard sit-out facebuster which comparing simultaneously looked awful side by side next to any over diva. She was the poster girl of Smackdown because of her smile which is fine in terms of merchandising for that time period, but her success as the top girl on Smackdown was partially due to the fact she was put over by Dawn Marie and even more so Nidia who had even less experience but somehow excelled her in wrestling ability at a high speed. If we're being realistic it is a shame she's a Hall of Famer because she was pretty and pushed as Smackdown's #1 diva but with nothing but Playboy covers to back it up."

[5.0] "Torrie's a Divas-era wrestler in every sense of the word, but I always considered her a manager/valet first and foremost - mostly because she spent the vast majority of her career on a women's title-less SmackDown. In that sense? Absolute smokeshow, especially in WCW. A 2.5 as a wrestler, 7.5 as a manager/valet."

Or at least they made you think this. Torrie was a better worker than many guys remember. And she lasted for a long time for a model that became a wrestler. She also tried to be passable in the ring."

Eventually "the bug" had taken a bite from her bottom and she began to work hard - really hard, to become something passable in the ring. I respected her ethic and desire. Just as she was showing something that seemed like legitimate promise: a serious injury derailed her career completely. Points earned for busting her arse and for having a darling Maltese, I have two myself and yeah we're actually giving her points for that. 5.75 rounded up."

[8.0] "Yea, Torrie Wilson was admittedly never a good worker in the ring or anything; but she was really charismatic and over with various crowds throughout the Ruthless Aggression Era. Her voice might be more for doing segments and holding conversations/exchanges with others as opposed to cutting promos; but I thought she was a decent/solid enough talker. She was the face of the Smackdown women's 'division' for a couple of years for a good reason. She also had a few memorable feuds/segments too. Plus, Torrie Wilson is arguably the hottest woman that WWE has ever employed (along with Trish Stratus), so that's a huge bonus going for her. Torrie is known to be a blonde blondshell (which she is), but she also served a valuable purpose for the company during her run in WWE. She's probably the most memorable 'diva' out of the rest of the other women who were presented as eye candy during her time; so clearly, Torrie did something right to stand out all these years later. She had her tremendous hotness, but she was charismatic enough to be more fondly remembered (as opposed to someone who played a similar role like Kelly Kelly). Anyway, I have a really soft spot for Torrie since she is low-key a 2nd-tier favorite of mine, and I recognize that she had plenty of merits in spite of her obvious weakness in the ring; so I feel like she's worthy of receiving an 8 here."

She had some cool feuds (Dawn Marie or Sable) and also got to work with Candice and Victoria as Vince's Devils, but the thing is, that these feuds were trashy-entertaining and did not present Miss Wilson as a talented worker. The good thing is, she improved and had some cool matches. I really liked her work with Nidia or Victoria. She also had great charisma and was very good as a babyface. So I think, giving her 6 points sounds fitting due to her improvements, but also likeability with the fans."

A few Divas did have both qualities, like Trish for instance, but Torrie is in the same boat with Stacy Kiebler and Terri Runnels. For eye candy, Torrie was the All-American Girl, so she did well in that role. But in-ring wise, she certainly was average at very best."
