Solid moveset but nothing really wows you, solid look but nothing crazy, ok charisma, ok intimidation, etc etc. He's just a very all around solid wrestler but I do feel like hardcore WWE fans are overrating him due to A. just recently being exposed to him & B. not many WWE fans watch real Lucha. Definitely is saddening that he only got 5 minutes at MITB against Dom, but I don't think Octagon Jr can put together a long match which is my main struggle with him. He seems to severely lack in the in-ring psychology department, and just does moves for the sake of doing them. There are some wrestlers like that that I don't mind (AR Fox for example) but he makes up for it by being insanely creative to the point you have to respect it. Octagon Jr just has a solid moveset that cannot make up for what I feel is poor psychology. I really hope he improves because he's still on the younger side and I do think he has potential to be a good Luchador in WWE. But only time will tell. For now, I feel like he's a solid 6.5 with potential to be an 7.5 or an 8. |

He's signed with TNA for a reason, he's a top luchador and is a great athlete like all of the others from AAA. I'm so excited for this collaboration man. Great business going all around. Omg, just to add on that he had an incredible showing at Worlds Collide winning and getting the pin in the 6 man tag and beating LWO with a Lince Dorado appearance on main roster tv in years. Then now he just braces Dirty Dom and they having an Intercontinental Championship match at MITB 2025 after brawling around the ring. Octagon Jr is such a fantastic luchador man. Absolutely incredible. |

There was the history between Octagon and AAA fighting because the company wanted to register his name for years....and, when the thing was finally over and Octagon was keeping his name, AAA goes out and registers "Octagon Jr" as their own and gives it to the once known as "Golden Magic". Not the best story of origin for a gimmick, but the person who portrays it is a great Luchador and maybe that's what matters here. |
