[8.0] "Afa played such a critical role in the team of The Wild Samoans and for future wrestlers who hailed from the South Seas. While Sika followed the lead well enough, it was Afa that showed (invented) "the character" in spades. Afa is where we got all of those "wild Samoan" mannerisms: Looking up or into the distance, eyes fully BUGGED, barking, snarling and being overall; quite feral. He even kept the gimmick going while managing Samu & Fatu, and if anything ante upped the whole bit about 30%. Fun stuff no matter where you find him. Before the gimmick he was totally solid and did very great work for the era. (PS: I think a fellow inmate rated this guy thinking he was someone else, Afa was a light heavyweight in the 6th grade maybe.) (Minor edits and a score raise)"
[5.0] "I rate Afa and Sika about the same. A product of their time so you are going to see a lot of punching, kicking, headbutting and biting. But they had presence that made them unique among the rather generic rosters of the time. When he was a manager, it was fun when he would get in the ring occasionally and take out a baby face with a Samoan drop to help the Headshrinkers win."

[7.0] "Fair rating for this guy. I disagree with the last rating that he could of been a crusierweight. I don't see it at all. His whole career was being in tag teams. Unfortunately promoters did not give him a harder push. Maybe he could have been like Yokozuna, Rikishi or Umaga. He wrestled more matches than his brother, Sika. He managed the Headshrinkers and was successful at it. He even wrestled at 71 years old."
[7.0] "One thing I don't measure is heart, and I think Afa could have succeeded based on his desire alone. I see a lot of similar qualities in Will Ospreay or AJ Styles and those guys have made pretty decent careers for themselves. There was a bright future for him as a light-heavyweight and if he had kept improving he could have made it to the next level. Sadly, he remained a lower mid-carder for the rest of his career. I don't know if this sounds nutty, but I think I see a lot of him in Mustafa Ali."
[8.0] "Afa and his brother sika were what they were. They looked like brawling tanks and they fought like brawling tanks. Personally, i really enjoyed these guys but they obviously werent superstars you build a promotion around or build your tv around. As a threat in the tagteam division, afa was a valuable asset in the territory days"
