[7.0] "Solid and entertaining mid card heel. He's a decent worker too so the role that suits him best is helping get younger talent over. He's very easy to dislike with this fake teeth and tan. He knows what he's doing. If the fucking Miz can be rated above a 6, so can QT."

[4.0] "Whether he was stinking his way through the entirety of his early ROH days or using a single moment to destroy Wardlow & Hobbs' momentum simultaneously in a way neither man ever fully recovered from, he has proven overtime that for every positive he brings, he also brings 3 or 4 negatives. Has a strangely annoying habit of questionable taste in "tacky" matches/segments; QTV (firmly AEW's worst thing all 2023), that very weird MLP match with Bully Ray, being Big Boom AJ's first AEW opponent. For how much strange stuff he finds himself in (voluntarily or otherwise, ) his heel work is very generic & his in-ring work after 2 decades of experience is only acceptable (he's got a good handspring, & that's really all I've got for you). A glance through his catalogue of matches reveals a vast swath of utterly amazing/legendary talent whom I'm shocked agreed to work with him; he even runs a wrestling school with Cody Rhodes (you are not hallucinating, that's a true fact). He gets a bonus point for running a school, & I think his heart is in the right place, but he was just never very good. He also apparently gets butthurt about Cagematch ratings, so there's that."
[6.0] "Good coach for young talent and knows how to make his rivals look good but he doesn't have much charisma, he was in 3 stables in AEW and none of them worked, when he was champion in Triple A he appeared as an American patriot and when he appeared again in AEW around same but now being a Mexican patriot, they didn't explain anything it just happened."

[6.0] "Whenever QT Marshall would lead such crappy stables in AEW like The Factory and currently QTV which is even worse, I would always make fun of the fact that he was the leader of those stables cause despite being a pretty good wrestler, a natural heel, and a good trainer, that's all he was. He had no credibility up until he recently won the AAA Latin American Championship at TripleMania in Mexico City a few weeks ago. Now he has at least a little bit of credibility. I've watched QT Marshall's career on and off for the past 10+ years ever since I first watched him in ROH back in 2012, it took him long enough to finally win a major title."
[9.0] "QT Marshall is a pretty good heel, a reliable hand if you need a nice tv match, a squash match or even a match on dark and even sometimes a great plunder match guy given the right opponent. He pretty fundamentally sound in the ring and can cut a decent enough promo on a good day and an incredibly funny on character on screen most of the time he is on. I enjoy QT Marshall for what he brings to the table, a guy who knows his place on the card and makes the most of his time and place on the card whenever he gets put on."

He's King of the Jobbers, a heel that can pose a threat to guys above his level with some veteran skills and underhanded tactics but get his ass beat in the end without hurting him. Great on the mic with strong crowd work, simple but heavy offense during his heat segment to highlight his flashier opponents, a great base to get that flashy offense of his opponents over, and by god some of the best jobber bumps you'll see on TV in the 2020s. QT is a treasure even if his creative isn't always matching it and he can get anybody across from him more over than they were before, AND he's a trainer. Any wrestling company with TV should want a guy like QT Marshall under contract and AEW is better off for being the one that does."

[6.0] "While his ROH run in the mid-2010s was somewhat underwhelming, QT Marshall has come into his own in AEW. He's shown much more personality and charisma in recent times, making him pretty effective as the leader of a heel stable, and his ring work is solid enough. He will likely remain a fixture of the lower card, but he fills that role well - a lower-level heel who an up-and-coming babyface can feud with, fighting off his goons and then Marshall himself, or that a middle-or-upper-level star can have a decent placeholder feud with to fill time between other things. Behind the scenes Marshall also works as a producer, and seems well-respected as a trainer at the Nightmare Factory. He won't be in the main event anytime soon, but he seems like the kind of solid presence that any company would benefit from having around."

Good in ring worker and an asset behind the scenes as well, but suffered from a dull look and is an absolute charisma vacuum. Attaching himself recently to Hobbs has plummeted Hobbs potential."

He's also amazing at getting over the talent he's working with. QT really shows that there's more to being a good jobber than just eating pins."

Marshall is entertaining as a smug, but goofy heel in the lower card. He's honestly a really good wrestler who's often been part of solid/good matches on Elevation and/or on AEW Dark (usually in the main event of either YouTube show). He's also really good and entertaining on the mic. Plus, crowds REALLY like to hate on this guy. I don't think it's go-away heat anymore. I think fans in attendance low-key appreciate how much of a talented prick that Marshall really is on the lower card. Overall, Marshall is a 7 at the very least."
[7.0] "I wasn't familiar with QT's work at all until AEW formed, and I gotta say, he's really grown on me. He's just so naturally unlikable, and in the best way possible. There's something about him that makes you want to just punch him in his stupid face, and it's always satisfying to watch him get beaten. He's basically the perfect heel Jobber to the Stars. A really great promo and pretty solid in the ring but it's obvious that his age is starting to catch up to him. If he had gotten this kind of exposure ten years ago he might've been something really special, but it is what it is, I guess. Either way he'll have a very fruitful career post-wrestling as a manager if he ever decides to take that route as well."
[5.0] "I do not want to sound harsh specially since I really respect QT but for me he is very boring to watch. QT has a couple of moves that can sometimes surprise you but the delivery always falls flat in part to the lack of interest or reaction from the crowd. His character needs a lot of work if he wants to connect to the fans in any way."

When they gave him the Factory, I was a little interested, but since then hasn't done a lot of stuff beyond Dark and Elevation. His mic work is decent and he does stand out as being one of the very few guys on Dark who can talk."
[4.0] "He's not great in the ring and he's rather boring to watch. He seems technically sound, sells well, but he lacks charisma that is certainly needed. His wrestling skills are ok but it seems his best use is as a trainer and not as a performer, as it's clear he knows the basics but struggles elsewhere. He's consistently one of my least favorite wrestlers. His feud with Cody overexposed him. Everything about him is boring though. I don't want to be so harsh as he seems to be respected but it's true. He's useful, just possibly not in front of the camera. My rating is of him mostly as a performer and not his contributions. If we go based on contributions his rating would surely be higher."
[4.0] "He's a wrestler that doesn't make the audience feel anything, he's only supported by other wrestlers with more charisma than him, as such he's not bad at all, there are many worse, but he's one of the worst that AEW has, all this in my opinion."

The fact him and Cody are going to be in a strap match: a gimmick that not even solid wrestlers can get over: is really worrying."

I respect his ability to coach and mentor talent, as QT Marshall, along with the other vets on the AEW roster, have been instrumental in the continued improvement of the young talent. However, QT Marshall does not have the juice as a character to carry a program like the current one with Cody Rhodes. QT is a good worker by all means but it is clear he has a hard time connecting with the fans as evidenced by the reaction, or lack thereof, that he gets continually. Simply put, QT might go down as one of the most underwhelming stable leaders of all time."

But (and this is something a lot of wrestling fans seem to have lost sight of) not everyone needs to be a superstar. You need to have midcarders. QT Marshall is perfectly good at that role.
