Athena has proven she's more than just potential, she's world-class."

[9.0] "This might be controversial but I'm giving Athena a 9 instead of a 10. Even though she has some of the most realistic offence in the world--Woman or Man--I find a lot of her longer matches really lag and it's kind of for that reason. Nobody looks better than Athena at just blitzing an opponent and doing something to them that looks like she may have just ended their career. Athena might be the most capable wrestler in the world of putting on a 5-star 5-minute match. But if you're going to have her go above that, she better be in the ring with someone who realistically can withstand her punishment otherwise it feels like it's going long for the sake of going long. Her recent match against Harley Cameron which went 10:28 is a good example. Because wrestling fans are so prone to think "more time=better match", I'd like to see Athena & AEW work around this by coming up with some minute-eating spots that enhance enjoyment but also don't require me to believe her opponents can take these brutal attacks and keep going. Again, Athena is maybe the best sub-5-minute wrestler in the world and I really wish fans put more value on this because great 5-minute matches are something that are fun to watch again and again. No fat, all action, so much fun. The type of matches you can show non-wrestling fans and they won't get bored."

[10.0] "Paying attention to Athena in ROH and now in AEW and it's pretty clear that she's a top talent. Her wrestling and promo skills are both very good and she's both very athletic and surprisingly strong for her size. Athena has carried ROH for a long time and has recently made it up to the main roster in AEW along with Billie Starkz who has also been putting on great matches since the callup."

Athena is without a doubt an unsung star in Women's Wrestling!"

Her heel promo work is excellent and genuinely funny, every strike looks super stiff, and she's developed so much in-ring over the last few years. It's been a joy to watch as a fan, her ROH title run has been so much fun! The only thing I wish is that we could see her a little more on AEW like some other ROH champions, the treatment and visibility seems a little biased, and given the sheer number of matches on AEW PPV cards, there's no justifiable reason for her to not be defending against AEW wrestlers more often. C'mon Tony!"

Awesome matches, can take a good match from almost everyone, really above average skill-set and a impressive arsenal of hard-hitting moves. [8.0] "Athena is an exceptional athlete who, in her NXT days, was able to hold her own against Asuka. Her team-up with Shotzi was cool and I thought her return to NXT would take her a little higher. Her finish is undoubtedly one of the best, most original, grandiose and impressive ever, and her mastery of the in-ring is remarkable. She can put on a great match against any opponent and knows how to adapt and change her style. I think it's a shame that the WWE didn't know how to use her or find a way to compensate for her slightly inferior microphone skills, perhaps with the help of a manager. I'm delighted for her that she's been an ROH Champion for so long, she really deserves a place at the top of the card, whatever the company."

[10.0] "Hell yeah, one of the best wrestlers in the world right here. Mean, hard hitting, agile and explosive, capable of being a compelling babyface and a brutal evil heel. She's been carrying ROH on her back for a while and I always tune in for her matches and never leave disappointed. She has total understanding of how to build a compelling match and always holds her end. I hope she gets back to AEW soon and starts tearing it up there."

[9.0] "I've always liked Athena. I remember when she was on top of NXT and many unfavourably compared her to the women who had come before her. I always thought her ring work was eye catching. She's a magnificent athlete and a great wrestler. On the main roster in WWE she floundered a bit - but that was true of the vast majority of women outside of the 4HW. She's been a fantastic ROH women's champion. Probably the biggest success story of Tony Khan's ROH (which isn't saying very much). I hope she gets a proper run in AEW after she drops the ROH belt."

Would have liked WWE to use her better. but that proves how good someone can be when they were barly used to main eventing almost everything."

[10.0] "Ember/Athena is one of the best wrestlers male or female of all time, she can fight, she can wrestle, she can deliver face and heel work. ember moon/athena really deserves to be respected because people still talk like she is a newbie when she has been wrestling for more than 15 years, athena deserves everything good and she is really working not like other people, wwe, roh, aew, shimmer and many many promotions had her and worked amazing with her and her character, her nxt in ring work. athena deserves a good reign like this one."

[7.0] "Originally, One of my favourite female professional wrestler in the world alongside names like Mayu Iwatani, Io Shirai, Sasha Banks & Utami Hayashishita. She has everything, that badass look, good mic skills ( others thinks its one of her weak points but I really enjoy her promo works) and one of the most exciting moveset. Unfortunately, after NXT, she hasn't quite lived up to the hype. To make matters worse, she also hasn't had a lot of opportunities to shine but the ones she had, she didn't deliver. Good wrestler overall."

[9.0] "Phenomenal in the ring, having been on one of the best runs of 2023, and she's easily the best female in-ring worker in North America. She's extremely hard-hitting and stiff, to the point that she's left with accusations of deliberating hurting her opponent, and when she's able to play the heel, she's one of the most compelling in the world. She stays clear of the bloated, epic-style matches that can plague modern wrestling and wrestles concise, brutal matches that avoid the access that her acrobatic moves might draw her into doing. When it finally comes time to wrestle a lengthy epic, she makes her opponent look amazing with her bumping and selling. She's improved as a character, showcasing more personality than she did prior to her heel turn in 2022, but her character work and promos can still run into the Seth Rollins territory of being over-the-top and a bit cringe-worthy. Otherwise, she'd get the full ten."

[9.0] "Athena has arguably been the best womens champion in wrestling as of now. This is definitely the best we have seen her. Ever since turning heel and joining ROH she has been the MVP of the brand. Her character has great presence and her in-ring work is just as good. Not to mention, her selling is absolutely incredible.. she makes anyone in the ring with her look like a star. I cant wait till she eventually drops the title and see her more on Dynamite Or Collision as a potential contender of the AEW Womens title."

[6.0] "Athena is very good to great in-ring, but for her to be at the top of the division she needs to be in a smaller setting. Her ROH women's title defenses are entertaining, but on a bigger stage her presence does not stand out as much as it does in a smaller setting."

[10.0] "As I write this in 2023, she is without a doubt the best womens wrestler in north america, hell full stop, she is putting on constant classic match after classic match in big title matches, and her shorter jobber matches are some of the most fun jobber matches i've watched in years, she's really found herself again in ROH, but she also sells her arse off and makes even the most geekiest geek look good for 5 seconds of shine, she is fantastic."

[9.0] "Athena (aka Ember Moon) seems to me a great wrestler, she has always shown that she has the potential to be something top in any company, I hope that time will give her her best moments because she deserves it."

She's exactly what the new Ring of Honor needs right now EDIT: Moving Athena up to a 10/10 in light of recent matches with Athena and Skye Blue. She's having meaningful matches and feuds with so many different wrestlers and elevating all of them. She's on the hell of a tear in 2023."

[8.0] "Her violent heel run in ROH has allowed her to blossom and really put her best work forward. Has a great look, a compact but believable build, and fun in ring presence. She needs to be put back on the AEW main roster soon as a serious competitor, possibly win the TBS belt."

Her run in AEW/ROH started weirdly, but after a time spent in Dark everything changed, and she transformed into the Wrestling Goddess she is now, dominating every opponent laid before her. Having the ROH Women's championship have done nothing but wonders for her in-ring persona and fighthing style, which makes me sad about not seeing her in AEW, which urgently needs more players. Probably 2023's american female wrestler of the year, deservedly so. I hope she returns to Dynamite/Collision sometime down the road, as that female division needs another foundation beyond Hayter, Storm, Riho and Baker."

[10.0] "Athena earned herself a 10 here due to her ROH Women's World title reign being fantastic so far. I've consistently claimed since 2018 that Athena is legitimately one of the best female wrestlers in the industry (at least in the Top 10), and she's proven me right big time with her awesome run lately. I'm keeping this mostly focused on WWE + AEW + ROH + NJPW (although limited since they rarely feature women's matches); but the ONLY women who tops Athena in the ring are Asuka, Io Shirai, Serena Deeb, Charlotte Flair, and Mercedes Mone personally. I can't include Mayu Iwatani here (even though I'm aware that she's another elite-tier wrestler) since I've still yet to see her matches; so I'm just basing off women that I've seen enough of so far. Anyway, Athena is an excellent wrestler."

[9.0] "Athena has been on fire since winning the ROH Women's Title. She represents everything that we want North American Women's Wrestling to be. She is one of the best North American Women's wrestlers. She is also pretty much the 2023 Women's Wrestler of the Year."

Beats the shit out of her oppponents and takes the check and goes home, washes, rinses, and repeats. Done effectively too! She's already had a pretty accomplished, good career, but this might be her most convincing stuff."

[8.0] "Ember Moon/Athena has all the talent it takes to be the top of her division. I never understood why WWE didn't push her harder. Like I get they have a lot of talented ladies, but have you seen Athena's finisher? It's so fire. She's proven she's a good promo in AEW/ROH too so I think it's only a matter of time for her to hold AEW women's gold. Not that the ROH Women's title is anything to ignore but It would be nice to see her hold the AEW gold too."

[8.0] "Athena should have been rocketed to the top of the AEW women's division the moment she arrived. After losing a lot of her momentum to start, a heel turn finally put her where she needed to be, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more from her in the future. She's an awesomely physical and athletic wrestler with tons of charisma."

[7.0] "I first saw Athena in NXT, and I have to admit, she looked great. The move to the main roster proved fatal though, as her career began to falter until she went back to NXT, where she got a decent push before her release. In AEW, her first feud with Jade Cargill was pretty bad, but after that, she was really given a chance to shine. With her better-than-average in-ring work and great character, she's everything a heel should be in AEW's women's division. She's the best ROH Women's Champion we've had yet, and I can't wait to see what AEW will do with her."

[8.0] "I can't give her anything below 8, she was one of my absolute favorites in NXT. It's really a shame that Hunter never pulled the trigger during her feud with Asuka, because I think we all know she was the right person to end the streak and Ember was over with the crowd at that point. She also was untouchable in the ring (in WWE). But I can agree that she still lacks in terms of gimmick and mic skills. Now, I tried to follow her AEW run, but I just don't feel she's THAT Ember I used to love. And she somehow gets overshadowed by AEW's women division (that is not that great to begin with). I really hope she can recover from this, but for now I must accept she's a mere shell of what she used to be."

[9.0] "I think Athena/Ember Moon (both great gimmicks) is an awesome wrestler! She has a ton of cool moves that seem to come out of nowhere and the Eclipse may be the best women's finisher outside of Japan. She has looked fine in AEW but the booking of the division gives almost no chance for the women to shine so, unlike some it seems, I will not be harsh on her or any woman there just because of that."

[6.0] "Honestly, I was never impressed with Ember Moon, even more in AEW as Athena, she is pretty mediocre."

[7.0] "I used to be a big fan of her in 2017, when she looked really fresh, hungry and dexterous. I was really rooting for her to become a big deal in the main roster. But after her scary injury... Well, she is not so great anymore. But in terms of pure wrestling abilities she is still far above most american women."
