He carries/presents himself better, hits harder, & is generally much easier to take seriously as a physical presence than Jey is. He is still prone to occasional in-ring gaffes like Jey is, but at least he doesn't gaffe every single match like Jey does. My memory has seen better days, but I can not for the life of me remember a single promo he ever did outside of the awful "Well someone better put some SPECK on Roman's name WAAAH" garbage from the Awful Reign Of Doom. Still, if I had the both of them & I was managing a Raw and we had a 5 minute gap & I had to send one of them out to cut a killer promo, I'd go with Jimmy over Jey every single time. He's just better than Jey in every imaginable way (an ability to keep an entire building full of people whom have not mentally matured past the age of 13 entertained for 10 minutes by doing nothing does not count for anything in my book). Absolutely unreal that you can take this guy, take Jey, put them into a team together, & suddenly they're a legendary, actually good tag team (they're not) that everybody loves all of a sudden. Can I stop talking about this guy yet?"

[7.0] "Proceed with caution ya'll, cause Big Jim might be one of the most underrated wrestlers of our era PERIOD. Being booked as the Bloodline "loosedraw" is the closest name I can think off for the last few years I feel like Jimmy has mostly shown and proven his worth and ability to stay relevant which not many I feel could've done the same. Jimmy has been victim of some of the worst booking messups ever. Arguably the worst being the random still nonsensical turn on Jey after the match with Jey and Reigns but still Jimmy did manage to build momentum with the whole "anti-yeet" character before they killed that off just randomly, and yet again besides that he is actually over currently despite having no real character at the moment which is impressive. Look lets be honest - does he have the ability to tell stories and get emotion from the fanbase like Jey? No, does he have the inring ability and storytelling excellence of Roman? No, does he have the same explosiveness and excitement inring as Jacob Fatu? No. But in a Bloodline which is ever growing he comfortably stands within the top 5 imo, and if ever given the big push Jey has been given I do think he could shine as he does have the skill and ability to be more than just a Tag Team wrestler. Will it ever happen? Probably no. But thats due to booking. All in all Jimmy is a very safe and reliable hand that can fit into any role in a story and I feel like deserves a lot more flowers than what he currently gets. 7/10"

In the ring, he's worse than Jey which is a very low bar in itself. Much like Jey, is a much better Tag Team wrestler and should stick to that role"

That said, he deserves a chance to shine solo and show what he can do seperate from his brothers and family"

" to Mia Yim). His matches are about the same quality of Jey and obviously he has his drink driving issues which is probably why WWE chose Jey Uso as their golden boy and not Jimmy. Regardless, I think Jimmy is vastly more entertaining."

As a singles, he doesn't have it. He can't cut a promo, can't have a decent match, nothing. Everything required to be successful doesn't exist with either Uso. He doesn't even have the benefit of a cool entrance to mask how bad he is. He would be much better off in another team. As I said in another match review, as singles, it's like the Usos had two Jim Neidharts."

Overall I just prefer the Usos as tag team wrestlers and not singles competitors."

Sadly he can't flesh out his solo act since he has been under the shadow of Roman Reigns since the Usos split. Jey steered clear of Roman and had a chance to show individuality, here's hoping Jimmy can do the same at some point."

His work as a heel with the fragmented Bloodline was hilarious, but suffered in in-ring prowess. Before, his work as a face with Jey against the Bloodline in the Civil War was great. Now it seems his momentum has increased after his great performance at WarGames."

While he's long been part of one of the company's best teams and a cool member of the Bloodline, his limited moveole and lack of in-ring evolution when not benefiting from the duo's chemistry make him just above average. An important element, but one whose absence is not unbearable. His personal deviations don't always help to appreciate him more."

I don't have anything against Jimmy, he's a solid tag wrestler but couldn't produce a great solo run."

They're both very good actors, and Jimmy could probably be a decent singles wrestler if they chose to push Jey instead of him. EDIT 4/20/2024: His heel turn never implied that he had a bright future, and that was exactly the case. Jimmys heel run produced a few funny moments, but other than that, nothing made any sense. His theme song doesnt even make sense, stating that he stands alone isolated from his family, while simultaneously aligning himself WITH The Bloodline. Now that hes been kicked out, presumably beginning a reconciliation angle with his twin, I feel that there is now a glimpse of hope for him, as we have never needed The Usos as a team more than we do now."

Playing a lackey as a singles wrestler in the Bloodline is hurting Jimmy and it doesn't help that he has regressed in-ring somewhat. Jimmy obviously pales in comparison to Jey at this moment and the only thing that could perhaps save him from falling off completely is a reunion with his brother, which probably won't be happening for some time."
docphantoms wrote on 13.04.2024:

One of the issues being a tag member with your family causes is that it is difficult for you to stand out and currently Jimmy refuses to stand out. Maybe he can and will but that will require him taking some time away from it all to forge his own identity."

When they were in The Usos together, man they were so damn good, to the point where I didn't think either could be good without one another. Jey has gone on to prove he's capable of doing so, whereas Jimmy has been left behind. I think there's time for him to turn it around, he's by no means a bad wrestler, but he lacks the aura that his twin brother and so many upper midcard to main event wrestlers have."

Great storyteller in the ring. Great tag team wrestler. He did a great job on total divas. Now earlier in my rating, I talked about him being one of WWE's iron men at one time, well i'm gonna play devil's advocate now, and say that I feel like that's also what hurt him. When he got injured in 2020, Jey's career as a whole took off, and he became a star. I feel like now, he has to do something to come in to his own as well, and get to that same level, which is gonna be tough. Still ranks high though for me."

Both of them are flashy, charismatic, capable high-fliers -- and sure, they could use a bit more psychology and to add some new elements to their gimmick, but they've got all the ingredients of two very successful careers. Jimmy is the more charismatic of the two and certainly more of a natural talker. It didn't come off during his short-lived (and unfortunate) commentary career, but he's a funny guy, and he radiates heart. A freshening-up of his act could really boost his team's performance."
