Although his redneck gimmick is not particularly affected, his mic skills are definitely lacking, probably also due to some lingering performance anxiety factor. When he seemed to be at the end of full time career he went back to roots, re-inventing himself in NWA, which is not for everyone. Real pro-wrestling enthusiast and hard worker, still today bringing with him the legacy of his too soon disappeared best friend Lance Cade. His physique had many ups and downs, but the character allowed for it. At the age of 40, he has fought in every major promotion in the world and reached some important milestones. This 10 is a tribute to his resilience and his heart, but it is also meant to raise an average that is too low in my opinion. |
