| 8 | 23.06.2025 | bherbert1980 | 9.0 | Trevor Murdoch brought an old-school toughness to modern wrestling with a rugged style that stood out in a flashier era. As a tag team partner to Lance Cade, he found success in WWE and later revitalized his career in the NWA with a gritty and believable run as World Champion. Murdoch does not rely on flash. He delivers with heart, stiffness, and authenticity. He is a throwback in the best way and earned respect through hard work and staying true to his style |

| 11 | 15.02.2025 | Sleezy C | 7.0 | Trevor Murdoch has managed to do it all in the business of pro wrestling and has now honestly become an underrated act and story in the grand scheme of thing. He went from only tag teaming with Lance Cade, to pretty much floundering in the indies, then straight up wanting to quit, and then had a resurgence story in NWA from 2018-2021 that honestly to me rivals Cody Rhodes story to the WWE Championship. He may not be the greatest in ring worker, but the stories this man tells in the ring and industry are inspiring and really capture the mind, such as his rise back from retirement, and his feud with Nick Aldis. |

| 13 | 14.10.2024 | TripleCrown | 4.0 | If this guy was around in the 70s, people would've loved him and he'd be a star. In the post 2000s era of wrestling? Not so much, leaves little to be desired. Whilst he does have a great throwback look about him, he doesn't really have anything else. Lacks the wrestling ability to have decent matches, not the greatest on the mic... just looks like somebody who was thrown out of the 70s and into modern wrestling. Not going to 100% compare him to Gunther here, because that'd be incredibly silly... but just for a reference, he is what a great throwback wrestler is. He can go in-ring and talk on the mic. Murdoch, on the other hand, is unable to do those things. Will end this by saying, I did kind of enjoy his tag team run with Lance Cade, but he just doesn't exactly suit a mainstream wrestling promotion. |
| 14 | 05.10.2024 | Messalla | 10.0 | Trevor Murdoch (aka Trevor Rhodes in his home brand WLW) is a good old-school brawler, with a style than can satisfy either puroresu or indie shows. He has fought in every major promotion in the world and held a couple of major titles. His mic skills are relatively limited and his body shape has been a bit too much fluctuating over the years, but his redneck gimmick appears to be solid and still effective. At 40, when his ring time seemed to be over, he reinvented himself as one of the main charachters of the new NWA, reinvigorating the legacy of his mentor Harley Race. This 10 of course does not match this judgment, but it's meant to raise an average that is clearly too low. |

I'm an 80's territory guy. Be thankful I never made it to NWA Powerrrr tapings, I would have been bellowing "Cmooon Trevorrrrr" from the bowels of my lungs to annoy you all. I really *REALLY* fkn love this guy. He's one of those guys where I don't care about his short comings; I love his look, style and story: it all feels soo 1983-85. I will be eternally grateful for this time machine of a wrestler. *starts bellowing in approval* |

| 33 | 18.11.2022 | crs285 | 7.0 | Trevor Murdoch deserves an award for his improvement from his days in WWE and TNA (do not get me started on the Dupp Cup stupidity). Now in the modern era he is a top throwback character and a main eventer in the NWA. He is the example of WWE not being the defining part of the career. Murdoch is in his prime and I look forward to watching where he goes from here. |

He may look bad outwardly, he mayn't be as mobile at 41 as he would like, but he easily makes up for all the shortcomings with his work, sometimes smart, and sometimes brutal, and the natural charisma of a simple man who just wants to be at the top at least once. I'm glad he got what he deserved. It's sad that 99% of those who gave him a low rating will never reconsider their opinion. |

I can't imagine anyone calling this dude untalented or boring have ever actually watched classic NWA, or else they'd be saying the same thing about the top guys back then. Silliness. Murdoch is a great wrestler, and there is a place in the current wrestling landscape for an old school brawler like this. He was always the bright spot in his WWE tag matches and now that he's finally getting the spotlight he deserves it's worth it to acknowledge that the dude can wrestle with the best of them. |

| 61 | 26.08.2021 | CognacConversation | 5.0 | He can still put on a good match but is an abysmal shape and won't draw anyone to NWA (forget casuals, not even hardcore fans want to see him) in 2021. I like NWA but it's pretty farcical that a midcard tag team wrestler from the 2000s is getting booked as a main contender for the world title. This isn't any way to build a product that's trying to recover after the pandemic put them on hold. Murdoch could've built his stock up with more time in Japan than he did. He returned to wrestling for a company that desperately needs to attract some better names back. |

| 73 | 14.01.2020 | BenDenV6 | 5.0 | Murdock is a solid wrestler but lacks wow factor in every conceivable way. Not menacing enough to be a convincing heel but not interesting or charismatic enough to be a compelling babyface. Above average in the ring considering his size and a moveset that is a good combination of "old school" and modern. Takes tough bumps and good seller. |

| 77 | 25.11.2018 | DanTalksRasslin | 6.0 | With a very old-school ring style, look and gimmick, Trevor Murdoch perhaps came 20 or 30 years too late to become a major singles star in WWE, looking more like a throwback to the territory days. He was a good brawler who could occasionally surprise with how agile he really was (being capable of performing a Canadian Destroyer, for instance), and his tag team with Lance Cade was a good act with solid in-ring work. |
| 78 | 12.10.2018 | RatingsMachine | 6.0 | Trevor Murdoch was very underrated, falling victim to being given a gimmick that overshadowed his talent. Murdoch was solid in everything he did, and would have been great midcard talent. |
