I think Dixie may have meant well in some regards and probably would have been better served if she had just stayed out of the business and decision making process of professional wrestling. But I think she was susceptible to manipulation and was easily deceived by self serving crooks like Hulk Hogan, Vince Russo or Eric Bischoff. I don't think Carter alone should be credited as the reason TNA was never able to reach the heights it should have but I think as a promoter, she was pretty bad."

Just a bad promoter. For instance, choosing Russo over Cornette as part of creative. TNA's constant BAD booking in that stretch, short matches, ENDLESS segments with very little wrestling (Ironically in a company called Total Nonstop Action Wrestling). So, I basically blame Dixie for that. Again, I don't think she's a horrible human being. Just a GOD AWFUL promoter."

Trusting the wrong people, screwing over people that became megastars elsewhere, paying her talent so little that they had to get second jobs just to keep the lights on, etc. And then there's her treatment of Daffney and Jesse Sorensen after fucking up their bodies for TNA, some of the most legitimately evil actions I've seen happen in wrestling."

Part of me felt bad for Dixie because Hogan and Bishoff probably lied and sold her a bunch of BS because they didn't mind spending her money, but ultimately, she was a large part of the reason TNA's quality fell and they nearly went out of business. Some of the TNA originals and knockouts have spoken poorly about her. Someone who came from a family with money but probably should have realized that doesn't mean she was qualified to make any wrestling related decisions - and should have taken Paul Heyman on his complete control offer"

Bad business person and negotiator reliant on Vince Russo for a lengthy part of her run and reliant on Bischoff and Hogan for the rest. In 10 years we may well get a TNA DVD called "Surviving Dixie Carter" because its something of a miracle that TNA did. If not for the immense talents of her wrestlers, she'd of been out of business in record time, because creatively she was as bright as a black hole. I'm sure she is probably a very decent person outside of business but everything I saw as a viewer of 2012-2014 TNA and everything I've heard from shoot interviews proves that she should never have been in the business."

[2.0] "Probably the worst authority figure of all time. Her promos were very bad, especially compared to Vince, Bischoff, and Heyman, who are on the Mount Rushmore of authority figures, as she was extremely monotone on the mic, and as a promoter, she had little backbone and wrestlers were notoriously late getting their paychecks and she even lowballed Gail Kim in 2008 and AJ Styles in 2014, which led to both leaving the company (and AJ actually has had a great WWE run, unlike Gail). The product was good numerous times, mainly due to the performance of her roster, but the booking always let them down, as the younger talent hardly ever main evented until 2012, which was their best product outside of 2005-2006."

She did not have the knowledge required to run a wrestling business and seemed to make bad decisions in terms of who to partner with. Most talent do not remember her kindly but a few did. She was worse as an on air authority figure than she was as a booker."

I know what I have heard, and that this is a position she no longer holds, but I was not there first hand. Her time as an on-air performer, however, truly was inadequate. As a face she failed to garner real sympathy. Her promos only came natural as a heel, but any kind of positive mic work was outweighed by her then extreme go-away heat. The singular highlight of her time on air for me is Bully Ray powerbombing her through a table."

But once Dixie took more of a shine to it & wanted her input to be heard more, it took a nosedive. As most egocentric rich people do, she couldn't help but to make herself an on air character & she was atrocious as can be. All that said, I kind of hope she shows up as EC3's aunt in WWE some day. Perhaps that would help to save him."

[0.0] "Absolutely the most incompetent major wrestling promoter of the past 20 years. The only good I can speak of Dixie is her providing the funding TNA needed to survive its early years. Unfortunately, she has seemingly gone out of her way to make every bad decision possible since then. Including as follows: hiring Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff to run creative all at the same time; Not paying/undercutting her own talent; Hiring Vince Russo AGAIN, only this time unofficially, getting TNA kicked off Spike; and not knowing how to E-Mail properly, resulting on her getting kicked off yet another network (Destination America) after insulting its executives. What a dummy. This is barely even touching upon Dixie's obnoxious and self-serving attitude. Dixie is, quite frankly, one of the stupidest people in the history of professional wrestling."

However, she really isn't particularly knowledgeable and her insistence on maintaining controlling interest in TNA has done great harm to that promotion. It's unfortunate, but it's true. She is TNA's biggest problem."

When TNA is finally dead and buried, the blame will lay with Dixie Carter. Here's to hoping that, when she finally loses her job, it ends her involvement in the wrestling business for good."

I feel like TNA has Cheer/Boo signs. How else can you explain every fan holding their thumbs down and booing? When was the last time you went to a wrestling show and every fan in the arena did that?"

She knows how to get under people's skin and that combined with literally everything she says on the mic gains so much heat from the crowd towards her and the fact that she doesn't botch what she's saying is another special ingredient added to how much heat she gets! It's phenomenal!"

TNA was great until she decided to throw a bunch of money at Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to come in, which led to the company moving away from what made it stand out. (6-sided ring, the awesome tag team and knockouts divisions at the time) Now it's if you missed something on Raw, just wait a week or two, because Impact will probably rip it off shortly."

She doesn't seem to understand what wrestling fans want and instead has tried to play WWE at their own game for the past few years, WWE has gotten better and once again she is playing pretend WWE. I really wanted TNA to be a great alternative to WWE but instead it's been disappointment after disappointment that will ride them straight to the grave by the end of 2015. Not to mention her wooden acting and sass neck now as a heel. Brainless bimbo."
