[7.0] "At least from what I saw, he seemed pretty good in the ring. Haven't seen much of Brad's career, but he was a big player in the AWA and was used as a job guy in the WWF. I think the one fault that l think Brad Rheingans had in his career was that he was a WAY TOO OLD SCHOOL wrestling mat-technician. Not saying it was a bad thing, but it was not working super great in the era that he was in, or at least in WWE. Had a very 60s and 70s style."
[5.0] "Just got done watching a WWF house show from Jan 87 and Rheingans is making his MSG WWF debut according to Mean Gene Okerlund at this show. Mean Gene does a good job of hyping him up Rheingans as an amateur athlete and Olympic competitor. Unfortunately Rheingans was a "blink and you missed him" guy and was mostly used for enhancement talent. I think the pro wrestling era had passed by guys like him by this point in 87 as he was the old school true mat wrestler type, and he didn't show much charisma or character in that match so he wasn't going anywhere far in the cartoony comic book WWF. I don't think he even lasted a full year in the WWF and he was only involved in the B show house scene it seems."
[8.0] "You could put this guy in with anyone and get a good match. Technically superb and his matches told a decent comeback story. Excellent opponent for prime Larry Zbyszko. Good run of matches with Billy Robinson. I thought The Olympians would go to the top. Picture prime Greg Valentine as a face in the ring, although The Hammer was better on the mic. Only an 8 because he lacks a significant title run or memborable feud."
[3.0] "He had good maneuvers but he was so plodding I wanted to get behind him and push. Impressive skill set on paper but if he was a CAW his speed would be 0.5. He was woefully and annoyingly boring. A black void of charisma that sucked the life out of the place. His ring repertoire, amateur credentials etc would earn him a solid 10, but god bless him... sleep inducing."
[6.0] "Very good amatuer wrestler and coach judging by his students but in the ring he was very charismatic but i guess back then you didn't really need to be great on the mic to be well liked."
[10.0] "This guy is an underrated performer. He was exciting to watch and was great at Greco-Roman wrestling. He also trained a lot of wrestlers like Vader. Great at suplexes."
[4.0] "Ich weiß nicht ob der Kerl jemals wirklich gut war, möchte es aber einmal stark bezweifeln. Zumindest in den späten Achtzigern und frühen Neunzigern wahrlich keine Augenweide im Ring, dazu Null Charisma und einfach ein Typ, der nicht in den Wrestling-Ring gehört weil er seine Langweiler-Aura eben nicht durch gutes Wrestling ausgleichen konnte. Ja, hervorragender Greco-Ringer, wohl ein guter Trainer (wenn man sich seine Schützlinge anschaut) und hinter den Kulissen mit einem legendären Ruf als Top Notch-Tough Guy ausgestattet aber (dennoch) kein guter Wrestler, zumal er im Ring stets überfordert wirkte."
