909.03.2024IDriveAFordFusion6.0I believe Shane McMahon is overhated in terms of in-ring work. Apart from the laughably bad "Best In The World" gimmick, Shane had some really good moments in his career especially during the Attitude Era, and I believe that he is the best McMahon in-ring that isn't named Triple H (obviously Triple H is the best in-ring in the entire family). Shane took some incredible bumps during his time as a wrestler and he was actually a quite likeable authority figure until he turned heel with the previously said gimmick.

2319.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12037.0Remember when people wanted Shane McMahon to run WWE and thought he could save the company? Man, is that a funny though. Anyways, while I detest his run as a heel in 2019, didn't care much for his 2016 - 2018 run, he was a lot of fun to watch in the Attitude Era, doing fun spots and throwing terribly worked punches (LOL! ), he at least was a decent wrestler who was able to have great moments, even if he has won rivalries he shouldn't have.

3911.07.2023BigDave1230.0He was fun to watch in the early 2000s but since his return he was regularly the worst part of any WWE show he appeared on and was so over exposed. He is not a wrestler so being treated as one for a few years when he was just an old man who couldn't work was the worst part of WWE for a long time. Please stay gone.

4302.06.2023Dancer9.0Not every wrestler needs to be the world's greatest worker. Not every wrestler needs to put on five star clinics every time they step through the ropes. As long as you are competent and believable, you'll get the job done. Now its clear that Shane McMahon wouldn't have had the career he did without his dad's help, but Shane has always played a believable daredevil well. He's probably up there as a top 10 bump guy of all time. He got carried to great matches with people like Styles, Owens and Angle. He doesn't have the best strikes in the business, and the Best in the World character didn't really do much besides bury Elias and get the Miz's dad on an indie show. While Shane has had his fair share of moments, but he's a legend in my book.
4401.06.2023Giantfan19803.0Annoying personality got him over as the guy you wanted to see get his head ripped off. But the idea a barely trained "wrestler" could take on a guy like Kane was just laughable. One of the best stuntmen in the biz, but that was usually his limit. Weak crappy jabs, then go climb some scaffolding and free fall onto a stunt mattress. A lot of people were sick of him after the InVasion angle wrapped up.
4523.05.2023Scott Bailey8.0
4623.05.2023Mister Cute Face3.0The thing about being the most likable McMahon is that you're still a McMahon. His best match was against Angle. Otherwise he's only as competent as his opponent. Decent entertainer, but we've been seen the same thing for decades. Even when he's gone for a while, his shine wears off real fast.
4721.05.2023Leth995.0He was amazing in '98-'01 because they let him get trained with the great guys. His match with Angle at KOTR is historic and the best match of his career. If you want to wash the bad taste of Shane post-WM 32 out of your mouth, watch that match. Sadly, he was protected more lately than in the Attitude era? ! How does that work? His late years have also been really bad. Vince was way better at 50 yrs old as a wrestler. Anyway, Shane in the Attitude era gets an 8, Shane in the late years gets a 3.
4806.05.2023tmxicon2.0If my dad ran the industry, I'd probably look to get my foot in the door, too. He gets to play wrestler, that's about it. I'll give him some credit for being willing to do some of the stuff he's done over the years. It's bought him a lot of goodwill with the WWE fanbase, but even that seems to be running out for him.

5204.04.2023crs2853.0During the Attitude Era Shane McMahon could be a funny guy and could fill a role. Always willing to take a dangerous bump got fans behind him His return to the company was a surprise that was interesting for a while before his heel turn where he became the most unwatchable thing in WWE at the time. He was consistently pushed over the actual talent and just annoyed the crowd. His booking of the Royal Rumble was so bad his own family got rid of him. His comeback at Wrestlemania 39 was sad. Hope he recovers quickly though but think he should stay away from pro wrestling.
5326.03.2023Unright2.0Nothing I hate more than watching a wrestling PPV and a Shane McMahon match comes on. The storyline tied to it is going to be unnecessarily convoluted and overbooked. He's not trained to be a wrestler and never put in the time and energy to be a good wrestler, so his timing is terrible, his moves will be sloppy as hell and he'll often potato other wrestlers because he's an asshole that doesn't care. To make up for his limited moveset and low psychology, he'll often do some stupid mega bump for cheers. Ugh.

5509.03.2023Okaro1433.0From a persona standpoint and maybe to an extent wrestling politics, I don't like Shane. His character takes the spotlight so much that he has screwed other great wrestlers like Sami Zayn , Kevin Owens and AJ Styles while being a babyface. What Owens said about Shane just hit the nail. He is like a disease that has infected WWE by always being in the centre. When he won the best in the world, it was sn insult to his employees, an insult to the fans and an insult to all the great Legends and the Wrestlers all around the world. I used to like him but he should have never come back. 3 is because his in ring abilities aren't too bad.

5912.01.2023YourKingMob8.0Despite having a good pedigree, training with real wrestling trainers for years and training in shoot arts with real trainers, his move set and skills in the ring were always straight side-show and rather boring. If it was just what he did in the ring and his skills give him 4-5 just on that. However, as a mud-show, plunder brawler and out-of-the-ring menace, he is straight up there with Mick Foley and late Era Funk. The show stopping bumps, scaffolding falls and the like were mind blowing. Despite being a wrestler better suited for the chaos of Mid 90s ECW, he had a not-small number of great matches with absolute superstars in the WWE, especially that ghoulish match with Angle.

6402.01.2023face painted legend10.0One legitimately tough son of a bitch. Not necessarily from a shoot fighting stand point (although shane doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would back down from a real fight), but his ability to take a lot of punishment and keep going. I would put him up there with Foley, Funk, whoever else you wanna name when it comes to that. One of the best in ring performers in WWE history. There are very few who can go out there and knock it out of the park against some of the biggest names in wrestling history when the bases are loaded like Shane McMahon does. And a big part of that is that there is nothing that he won't do or no risk he won't take to ensure that the fans who watch his matches leave with something to talk about. Some say he's a spot monkey, I say he leaves it all in the ring every time he's in there. He's also had a lot of memorable segments, moments, and matches again against some of the biggest names in wrestling -- Taker, Austin, Rock, Foley, Triple H, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Roman Reigns, etc, .Definitely should be higher than a 7 something.

6627.11.2022Enriquepollazzo6.0Glad the era of appeasing Shane mcmahon is over. Bad wrestler and ok promo made worse by the fact that I'm sure everyone there was telling him he is amazing. Those big spots were beyond masturbatory.

7027.09.2022AlDente016.0Certainly the most talented of his family. He is famous for his difficult, dangerous movements. From both the past and the recent times, you can see that he gives good, cool fights. He is pleasant as a face - as an opposition to his sister and father. However, it's very annoying and tiring as a heel - and it's not the kind of annoyance you want. At the same time, he is selfish - I didn't notice it before, but he is. He set himself a place in the final three of the Royal Rumble 2022.
7126.09.2022Conquistador3710.0I'm glad my criteria is HOW WATCHABLE ARE THEY? Because, yah - just try to take your eyes off the screen when he's doing any number of batsh! t crazy absurd things. the way to get a zero with me is to be fast forward fodder with no remorse. a 5 means I'm kinda in - kinda out, regardless of the situation/opposition. a 10 means I'm just staring and totally lost in the moment and i will probably watch the match over and over and over. Is he a Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bill Eadie, Scott Casey, Steiner Brothers etc in this regard? Not quite... see also: Sabu.

7909.08.2022Franjise7.0Ich habe Shane McMahon im Jahr 2016, kurz vor seiner Rückkehr, mit 10 Punkten bewertet? !

8918.06.2022Rodycaz II9.0For someone who's "not a wrestler", he sure has a lot of memorable matches. Legit one of the greatest daredevils in WWE history; the fact that he's the son of the boss just makes me respect the guy even more. Truly a McMahon.

9808.03.2022OnlyHalfTheEffinShow4.0Shane in the 1990's and 2000's was great, and put on surprisingly enjoyable hardcore spotfests and enjoyed a regular presence on TV as part of the corporation. That Shane gets a 7. Since his return in the 2010's however, boy has he fallen from grace. How is it a 50 year old man suffers from "promoters kid" syndrome? He just doesn't put on good matches anymore, alway seems to go over when he doesn't need to and he breaks out into a downpour of sweat at a moment's notice.
