[8.0] "A true unsung hero of the wrestling business. While many remember him best as Ricardo Rodriguez, the loyal announcer for Alberto Del Rio in WWE, Jesus Rodriguez has quietly put in work across multiple roles--from in-ring performer to trainer and commentator. His high-flying background as Chimaera showed serious agility, and his commitment to the craft is evident in his continued work on the independent scene and with MLW. Not flashy, but passionate, versatile, and reliable--a valuable figure in and out of the ring."

[6.0] "Amazing what a mask can do for a guy. Who would have thought that goofy ol' Roberto Rodriguez was the guy portraying the ultra-awesome Chimaera? As Chimaera in Mexico, he was very innovative & smooth in the ring. His multiple head bashes into his knee spot really needs to be used by someone stateside. He worked well as ADR's personal announcer in the early days, but once the act split, he was done. His pairing with RVD was atrocious & when he did finally wrestler in WWE he just looked like a dumpy, out-of-shape guy who was clumsy in the ring. By the time he re-donned the mask in NXT as El Local, it looked like the time he spent out of the ring had caught up to him & he wasn't the same worker that we saw in Mexico."

He was Alberto Del Rio's manhandler and whenever he was in a mach he sucked. He is one of my worst of all time. El Local had him good as a jobber because he really did suck. WWE was not a place for him at all. Good riddance."

And knows how to keep his gimmick as a ring announcer. When they put him at the spanish announce team I thought it was decent, from the 20 seconds we were hearing with the folks from that table. Hopefully maybe they will get him back someday or something. He's great! Riiiicardooooooo Roooooooooodrigueeeeezzz!"

[9.0] "It's odd in a way - this guy is a trained wrestler, and from what I can see, he can work well. But people who watch WWE know him best as Albert Del Rio's ring announcer, and on a lower scale, El Local (But the kids might not know that). Considering he works mostly in a non-wrestling capacity, his mic work and arrogant character make him great fun to watch, and I like the fact that he has managed to take something that was a bit of icing on the cake for Del Rio's character, and make it just as important for Del Rio as Del Rio's in-ring ability and own charisma. I'm hoping that he won't disappear any time soon."
