[7.0] "Masao Inoue generally augment to the business, he is fairly gratifying. From the intense AJPW dojo system where respect must be only to veterans and later members of the AJPW roster. He was never the best but during his prime decade is where he became one of the adjourn greatests. Passable matches which wouldnt lit anyones fire but by 2005 in Pro Wrestling NOAH alongside fellow anti wrestlers alliance member Akitoshi Sato had the run of their careers headlining the finals of a tournament for a GHC title shot, billed as rookies going one and one where Masao won. Never always had the popularity to succeed or ability that is awe-inspiring. He was a prawn to the holy demon army decade previous. 23rd of April 2006 in the Nippon Budokan main event of the Spring Navigation, GHC championship was challenged on a night of Kobashi, Riko, Misawa, Edwards, KENTA, Ishimori, Taue & Marufuji were in the mid card. Masao Inoue was a top tier player for one night going one on one with the fifth pillar of heaven, Jun Akiyama. Although he didnt not win the GHC heavyweight title, he got more respect after the show came and went. He did have a delayed run where he should got a shot at an single title but he traveled many of moons throughout Japan and became a funny half arsed cheating scumbag, true fans know differential values. In later years, he used the traditional classic wrestling handbook of cheating yet get offence using the ropes, weapons and taking advantage of the rules. My father personally got memories of Jack Dempsey using tactics, all thanks to his 2025 tag match with Takashi Sugiura vs All Rebellions Galeno and Kaito Kiyomiya. He is in no need to compete these days but his stick moments are worth watching."

[5.0] "I'll contend that NOAH Inoue, dirty cheat who's always pulling a fast one Inoue, and the later comedic stooge that has his moments of glory Inoue were all good opening acts, and I do have a soft spot for the guy. I don't think he was particularly very good in AJPW: a lot of his match quality just seems to be "alright" but being "alright" when working with perhaps GOAT level quality acts like the Pillars, Hansen and co is definitely a big issue. I can give you a pass if it's like New Gen WWF but this it wasn't. I don't think he was ever the act that AJPW management wanted him to be exactly, and that's alright: not everyone needs to be to have a successful career. That being said, that doesn't help the fact that a lot of his early career up to about 2003 was just really not very good. If you find the right times where he's given the time to be himself, he's fun as a scrappy low carder fighting with whatever he can do to get a win, but these are few and far between."
