[10.0] "One of the best wrestlers from the Martimes. He grew up in a wrestling family with his brothers as wrestlers. He was great at holds and was exciting to watch. Most remembered in Stampede."

[6.0] "Leo was just excellent at telling a story in the ring. He was not a great face, but was an excellent heel. I recall a match with the Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith against he and Hubert Gallant "The French Connection" that everyone I know at the time tuned in to see. It was just a very big event in Alberta. It was in the papers as a legit sporting contest. It was a very big deal. When Leo was a top heel on Stampede, it was never miss television on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm."

[9.0] "just missed the tv era... and kind of wrestled some more obscure promotions. part of a famous family from eastern canada... worked on top there but was also on top in calgary stampede area just as bret hart and dynamite kid were getting their starts... and was on top in purteo rico as a heel for quite some time too. as a kid 10-11 years old i didnt like leo and preffered his brother bobby... but after i grew up i saw more and more why leo was the star and always commanded the top spot on the card"
