[2.0] "He came into WWECW when that show was at its worst. They tried to freshen it up with a superstar initiative where they brought in a bunch of rookies all at once. But the problem was that all the rookies they brought in were some of the worst, half baked ideas possible. The most memorable this about Ortiz was his finisher: The Big O. It was a splash, but he kind of contorted his body when he came down on the opponent to make an "O" in the air."

[2.0] "A veteran of several major pro football leagues, including WWE's own XFL, Ricky Ortiz was considered a strong prospect while in WWE's developmental system, but once he hit the main roster his ring skill lagged behind his peers and he had a distinct lack of personality, and his run ultimately didn't last long and came to little. He subsequently spent a few years on the indy circuit before hanging it up. He did end up marrying Layla El in real life, though, so he has that going for him, which is nice."

[0.0] "This guy made waves in developmentals, but when he appeared on TV he was exposed as painfully mediocre and his supposed charisma came off as very forced and phony. He simply does not cut it as a performer. Give him that, he is well-married."

[0.0] "Just the worst. Very bad promos, very bad in the ring, never developed into anything. I also hate his hair and his face."
