[3.0] "She's bad at creative. She's bad at wrestling. The only value she has is drawing heat. And even then I suspect most of her heat to be of the go away variety. Still, I'm inclined to give her a 3 for the heat she has garnered, proper or not, and for her overall impact on the entertainment form."

[2.0] "Every single thing Stephanie McMahon did on-screen would've likely been more entertaining without her. I think the one time she was decent on TV was her Smackdown GM role in 2002-2003. Her being the owner of ECW killed the brand within seconds. The Authority storyline is one of the worst things WWE ever put out. She used to randomly just bury different people in promos (like that infamous Kaitlyn one) for absolutely no reason. She hogged up so much screen time for promos that did literally nothing. One of the most "change the channel" characters of all time."

[3.0] "I'm sure that she's probably fantastic to have around backstage, but as far as her on-screen heel presence is concerned, I've never remembered a time that I've seen Steph on screen and been happy about it. Perpetually trying too hard, never funny, can't act, can't talk, can't work, not attractive, & just generally an annoying-in-a-bad-way character to ever have on screen. Only rating 3 because, again, I'm sure that she's super nice in the back and probably served to try her best to negate some of Vince's worst ideas, but on-screen she's a huge zero for me. Best of luck to her, in the event that Paul ever finds a spot for her backstage again."

[8.0] "Amazing heel, compelling promo, even decent in the ring. Played a big role in the women's revolution. Hell, without her we wouldn't have Cena. Give Steph her props."

[0.0] "Stephanie McMahon, in and out of the ring, is the personification of corporate polish. Nothing about her looks genuine, (I'm not talking about appearance but presentation), she was always making herself look better in promos with any wrestler, male or female. Now she's going on an image rehabilitation tour. She rarely, if ever, got comeuppance for being a villain. One of the more ridiculous scenarios is her being presented as having a fighting chance against Ronda Rousey. It doesn't work in real life or in kayfabe. The only time I ever found her entertaining was when she was "dating" Test. Everything after that is pure nepo opportunity. The same could be said for Shane but he let himself get beat up and took crazy risks. Stephanie has always been a horrible wrestler. Then she hung around as part of The Authority which was a retread of the Corporation. I wish she stayed away."

[3.0] "The only time I ever liked Stephanie McMahon would be when she was Triple H's valet back in the Attitude Era, back when she would get her comeuppance. Then the Ruthless Aggression Era hit, oh lord... Then she becomes one of the worst General Managers of all time, taking up way too much screen time and being annoying as hell. But this run is lightyears better than her tenure in The Authority faction, UGH! First of all, the group sucked, a total cheap imitation of her dad's Corporation faction to the tee. Secondly, watching her and Triple H open up almost every Monday Night Raw with 15-30 minute promos was the worst, so boring and drawn out that it made me not want to watch every week. Lastly, I hated with every fiber of my being when she would bury every single person she did a promo with whether it was AJ Lee or John Cena, she always had to come out on top and get the last word in and it was abysmal. The only good to come out of Stephanie during this time was when Dusty Rhodes shut her down before she could even speak and when Ronda Rousey completely destroyed her at WrestleMania 34. Oh, and she sucked as a wrestler."

[8.0] "One of the most underrated heels of all time in my opinion, I think a lot of people forget just how great Steph is and was because of the Authority (which hurt everyone involved with it bar maybe Rollins. 2010's WWE sure was something). In 1999 for someone to suddenly be thrown on screen in a main event angle she did great as the innocent little girl, before suddenly becoming one of the best heels in wrestling within a year. Plus by all accounts she seems to be the one McMahon who people who knew them actually liked."

[3.0] "She was just there to make the Authority worse. If it was only Hunter, the Authority 100% could've worked, but they had to throw in Steph to bully the wrestlers without anyone answering back (except Roman ONCE! ) In the Attitude Era she was just a secondary character, in 02-03 were probably her best years but she ruined Jericho."

[8.0] "A great annoying as fuck heel. The posh daughter of the corporate maniac that thought she could do no wrong worked well to get an INSANE amount of heat and set herself up for great comedic promos for years. She did her job and is suffering because she has the same name as her dad."

[5.0] "Once upon a time I appreciated the role of the character. Then I mega-hella-super-totally-like-WHOA did NOT. She did some legitimately great stuff outside of the ring. She did some things that embellished her twenty-fold that also translated exceptionally well to her on screen material. She had some hits but those misses started to rack up against her. She would vindicate herself, only to annoy and aggravate later. Glimmers of gold in some rather rough patches, it's a mixed bag. In the end, a middle score is appropriate."

[2.0] "First the plus points, the wedding segment with Test is still one of my all time favourites when Triple H's music hit. Alas it's the only highlight, her ego ran rampant and she always had to be the one looking good, the person who got the last word in and never got her comeuppance so the face would look weak. She could deliver well on the microphone so would have been a strong positive if she ever let the face get over or for her to be made to look foolish in the end which at heart showed her lack of understanding of wrestling"

[4.0] "Bleh! Whatever positives She contributed are overshadowed by the fact that she is a McMahon after all and she has infinite continues at opportunities. Kinda hard to praise someone when they are born into the biz and you can get away with stuff that would get a hundred others shit canned."

[8.0] "Another very difficult one to grade, but I do look at Stephanie more positively than negatively. Adapted to the heel role perfectly and what made it such a great turn for her to align with Triple H was the fact that it was actually a justified turn. She was brilliant at making fans despise her and it was more fun in the Attitude Era because she wouldalway eventually get commupence for her actions making her a great foil for guys like The Rock, Chris Jericho, Stone cold etc. Her babyface run as Smackdown GM was also a refreshing change and just let the brand thrive on it's talent and putting on top matches. Her later years did get more grating to watch and because she couldn't take a finishing move from the top stars as she did in the past because of the PG direction, it really felt like she was plastered all over the show. It's a similar reason to why Michael Cole was obnoxious as a heel commentator."

"I sincerely don't understand Stephanie's rating here. She's grating, shrill, and just a lame repetitive act. Her best work was when she was kidnapped by the undertaker. To top it all off, she's a McMahon."

[8.0] "Stephanie McMahon, she was not A great wrestler I'll admit that. But on-screen as GM and with the authority, she was actually pretty good. Her best run is absolutely her 02-03 GM run."

[6.0] "As a wrestler, pretty poor, as a talent, pretty meh, but behind the scenes? She is very influential and she definitely knows how to run as business."

[7.0] "I give her an 7 on BUSINESS compared to CREATIVITY As an in ring performer she is pretty good. She has charisma and is *always* the evil heel, a role which she has learned. She makes pretty angry and hilarious faces and has taken a good few bumps throught the years from Triple H (No pun intended) to Ronda at Wrestlemania. She has had a LOT of cheesy roles though. Most people forget her average to bad stuff and only remember the good. Please don't bring up the Authority stuff. As a business person she is average to bad. She has brought a LOT of business to the company, but her 'brand management' strategy has been in question for a long time. Luckily Vince got rid of her later, but she was rehired when Vince left which was not a surprise, she knows more about WWE than a lot of people. It seems she is not prt of creative anymore but has a lesser business role. Hopefully she retires from this part of the company soon."

[10.0] "Stephanie has always played her role as a heel manager very well and is a very convincing heel authority figure to despise. Overall, she's definitely Vince's daughter and it's interesting to watch her evolve from spoilt daddy's girl to a powerful women of authority."

[10.0] "Stephanie is Vince's best child in an authority program. He plays his role as heel perfectly. She is able to pissed-off the fans easily. She is very involved outside of the WWE also in their charity work."

[3.0] "Stephanie was a competent actor at least as far as on-screen wrestling personalities go, but her insistence on always being a major character in all the top feuds/programmes in WWE over the past 20+ years has made her insufferable no matter what she's doing (and the same goes for Vince too, of course). Taking a wrestling company with actual talented wrestlers and instead giving such heavy storyline focus to comically forced family drama, essentially making weekly WWE somehow an even worse parody of generic reality TV, was an awful decision. I can't imagine anyone actually ever tuned into Smackdown, RAW, or a PPV because they were just SO desperate to find out what Stephanie did next. For the sake of my sanity I have to imagine that people just begrudgingly sat through Stephanie's soap opera family drama nonsense just for the sake of seeing the actual wrestling surrounding it. Oh, and it should also be mentioned that she has literally 0 skills as a wrestler, so how she ever managed to have 20+ matches, all on national TV or even PPV, is beyond embarrassing. Basically, Stephanie represents a lot of what I absolutely detest about western wrestling, but I can admit she was a decent talker, which is why I won't rate her lower."

[4.0] "Don't know much about what goes on behind the scenes but as a character, Stephanie is really good; Her wrestling ability is overated imo but there are many who likes it."

[6.0] "Her mind for the business I do believe is problematic, but she was a good focal point of the Women's Revolution (even though Triple H made Women's Wrestling matter again thanks to NXT). As a character she plays the spoiled daddy's girl well, and can make you really despise her. She also did a good job as the babyface from time to time as well, she is pretty decent in the ring as well. The real problem is the fact her character never usually gets her comeuppance, unlike Vince McMahon's character. She used to get her comeuppance when Vince was the one making most of the decisions, but ever since Stephanie started getting more involved in creative around 2002 she pretty much became invincible as the years progressed. Also I do believe she had a part to play in making Triple H win a lot from 2002 onwards when a loss wouldn't have hurt his character. I like Triple H but The Reign of Terror speaks for itself."

[7.0] "I get the low ratings but she's SO good as a heel lol. I could put her high just for that counter to the CM Punk chants she did that time, she's great at those little snappy comments that aren't scripted. Sometimes they have her maybe do too much without any comeuppance but stuff like the Wrestlemania stuff with Daniel Bryan or even little things like her encounters with Rhonda where she's playing the cowardly heel and having to take cheap shots just to get around her offence. She can work a crowd like no one's business on the mic and has definitely shown that she can be both a solid heel authority figure but also a surprisingly half decent babyface when she was feuding with McMahon and co: despite the match quality being less than stellar she got some genuine big reactions on her part fighting against the odds. She tends to overstay her welcome at points but as a figure that can be segmented fairly well into storylines, she works in being able to play her part well. She's bad in the ring but that's kinda obvious and they usually don't pretend like she can hold her own at all against anyone semi-decent, so she doesn't suffer from Shane's annoying Superman booking either where he can take guys like Orton or Kane to their limit."

[10.0] "An absolute legend! Great speaker and great villain)) I loved the days when she was General Manager SmackDown! (2002-2003) She shone with charm and authority! I miss her I hope she comes back))"

She eventually wore out her welcome & like all McMahons, she's become over exposed & mostly is an annoyance to see or hear from."

[5.0] "I enjoyed watching Stephanie McMahon as a character as part of the late Attitude era, actually right up until she " took over" ECW and it became clear to everyone that she, like her father and brother, were starting an enormous power trip that to this day has never really died down. Her character still has her moments in very small doses, but generally she is just immensely over-featured and a boring addition to any feud, because like any other McMahon her " deus ex machina" persona derails any sense of realism or investment in the story aspects of wrestling. If she is on screen, I immediately know it's a business and everything is about money in the end, which is obviously true, but also incredibly boring."

At least Vince knew how to be the fool once in a while and be the punchline of the baby faces antics, but with Stephanie the only person who gets the advantage is her. Maybe once in 3 years her husband may accidently hit her, or she faces Ronda (how ironic that the only person Steph will lose to is the only person in WWE who's bigger than the company). She's dreadful"

[8.0] "The politics behind her are a little off a lot. That said, she's still a great mic worker, has charisma (when she wants to) and is pretty much a female Vince McMahon figure. She's more so disliked because of backstage, but her on screen character is actually fine lately."

[1.0] "Heel authority figures serve one major purpose: to be obstacles to be overcome by babyface wrestlers. Stephanie McMahon as a heel authority figure simply doesn't let that happen. Even if she "loses" a feud it's either because her husband loses a match or she somehow still gets the last laugh."

[3.0] "Whenever she is on TV I want to blow my brains out. As a irritating heel she does her job right getting the fans to despise her, however she makes everyone (literally everyone besides Vince and HHH) look like shit with her slap (dear I say bury? ). She's not that good of a wrestler either."

One she is a really good character and actually does pretty well for herself when put into matches but at times she has been a genuine determent to the WWE product, she makes the wrestlers look stupid and her promos are terrible. She is pushed way too hard for a non-wrestler."

[8.0] "03/2014: Vince Tochter ist inzwischen weit aus Daddys Schatten herausgetreten und macht ihr Ding... und sie macht es hervorragend. Nach den ersten vier Jährchen als unterhaltsames Valet für HHH oder Jericho und der darauf folgenden Pause, läuft sie heute als On-Air-Authority zu wahrlichen Höchstleistungen an der Seite ihres Mannes auf. Man beachte zB ihren Auftritt bei NXT Arrival, als sie die neuen Diven ankündigt, die in ihrer Präsenz zu erblassen scheinen. Professionell geht sie auch mit unkalkulierbaren Publikumsreaktionen um. EDIT 03/2018: In den letzten Jahren kam mehr und mehr zum Vorschein, dass McMahons Tochter ein paar der weniger positiven Züge ihres Vaters geerbt hat, welche sich unter anderem in einem übertriebenen Hang zur On-Air-Selbstdarstellung und fragwürdige Bookingentscheidungen zeigen. Mal schauen ob sich das in den nächsten Jahren so manifestiert. Wäre schade."

[0.0] "It really is a struggle to find a single positive about Stephanie. I would be treading well-worn ground by pointing out how counter-productive and irritating her character is, so I won't dwell on that but I will say I agree with the general consensus here. It's not just that her character is an abomination, she performs that character horribly. A truly terrible actor that would have a Razzie named after her if she acted in film. Her voice is grating, and I personally even find her completely unattractive. I can't speak from personal experience, but I have heard from Meltzer and many others that she is also a dreadful creative mind that has no influence on the creative direction of the company. Nice person in real life I suppose, but I don't give a shit. Nothing redeeming about her contributions to wrestling."

[0.0] "Her on-screen character is absolutely horrible, and I refuse to watch any segment she's in. I'm convinced the writers are deathly afraid of letting daddy's little girl be written as anything less than an invincible goddess who gets to look down upon all the talent, and insult and berate them with no comeuppance of any kind. I am trying to prepare myself mentally for this year, in which we may very well see Stephanie going over Ronda Rousey, either on the mic or in a match. An outcome I can't imagine anybody ever wanting."

Spend too much tv time, talk shit to the face of other people and make them look like second-class citizen or geeks. Her ego is so so big that almost ruined the product. Moreover, that fucking annoying women revolution, she always claims that she is the creator, leader who started this. Oh shit, just so stupid. I was happy when she disappeared from tv, now she appears again. Whenever i see her, i just want to turn off my tv. Just trash, waste of time. Damage the products than making them look good."

[0.0] "The most annoying characters in the WWE. Belittles the wrestlers every chance she gets with zero comeuppance. Shoehorns herself in some big programs which she never deserves eg Brie Bella match in 2014. Also, apparently started the 'Divas Revolution' on TV. Changes allegiance from face to heel numerous times in a single day and advocates anti bullying on the show while herself being a huge bully. Tldr: Does just about everything to drive home a good image about her sacrificing the talent in the process."

[0.0] "Used to be hot, but she is terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE in the ring, and especially behind the scenes. Completely undercuts babyfaces to get herself over. Can't stand having anyone show authority or power over her, even momentarily like Dusty putting his hand in her face. Even when Vicki Guerrero retired and she got Stephanie in the mud, Steph still had to have a comeback on her to get the upper hand. Nice Steph, way to show her out the door. Just a completely pathetic human being and quintessential "daddy's girl". Just like Ivanka Trump, if she wasn't working for "daddy's" company, she'd never make it in the real world. Has basically ruined the WWE creative department, single-handedly. She is such an insecure wannabe that she couldn't handle a writer that said "blading" - she actually made him go apologize to every worker in the locker room. Jesus H. Christ, what was he SUPPOSED to say? "cutting oneself with a sharp object" ? It's a freaking short-hand term used in the business they work in - it is NOT taboo to say that! Seriously, what a stuck up C U Next Tuesday. If the business ends up in her hands post-Vince, might as well consider wrestling dead and gone."

[0.0] "I literally turn off my television everytime I see her. Shes a rating killer thats annoying af, needs to be involved in every single angle and the second reason why Raw have been unwatchable (the first being Roman Reigns) since the brand split. She was okay sometimes decent in the past, like fifteen years ago, but since her return for the horrendous authority storyline, shes been a huge cancer for this company and doesnt help its product whatsoever. Like seriously, she needs to f*ck off asap. Enough said."

[5.0] "As a talent: one of the worst actresses in a major promotion I have ever seen; I would venture to guess partially out of ego and partially out of corporate policy she doesn't seem to grasp the importance of taking/"egg on your face as a heel" that her father understood in spades which I imagine has hurt the credibility of many a new babyface in the eyes of the casual fanbase. She can sure get heat though I would contend that is more a result of her position. To give her a positive: she knows how to parlay that nails-to-chalkboard voice, escalating tone to boos and is achieving a physique that is damn impressive considering pregnancies and her aging."

In fact she would rate a 10 from me if it weren't for the fact that she almost NEVER gets her comeuppance the way a heel should, and the fact that she uses her talent to emasculate the talent, main eventer and midcarder alike. If she really understood, as her father used to, that a heel should always get their just desserts more often than not, she would have earned a 10."

[9.0] "Stephanie is great on the mic and plays a dominant woman like no one else can. She's just on a different level. She definetly deserves this rating. She's easy to hate but easy to love for sure if you are a guy who likes heels more than faces."

[10.0] "She was a passable wrestler back in the day, but where she excelled was in playing her character and in her talking. She can deliver greatness on the mic whether scripted or improvised. The past three years been the top talker tied with Paul Heyman. Stephanie seems willing to do way more than Heyman though. On top of all that, her looks and fit body through the years have only gotten better through the years."
