His feud with Raven was good and a year later they were teaming together in a rather good team but unfortunately, Raven left for ECW soon after and Saturn went to the WWF and was never on the same level. He really screwed up his career there when he beat up that preliminary jobber. Basically killed his career in the big time."
[6.0] "Perry Saturn is best known as a tag team wrestler, a member of the Eliminators, Radicalz and Raven's Flock. In WWE, in addition to his high-profile debut, he is remembered mainly due to an incident with a real beating of an opponent and subsequent punishment in the form of a strange storyline with a mop. Perry is a good technician but who was not particularly memorable as a character, not having good skills on the microphone. His life was tragic enough, but he had a fairly bright active career, during which he managed to perform all over the world, turning off the largest wrestling companies."

[8.0] "Saturn was great. Super athletic for his size, and whether it was power moves, submissions or high flying stuff, he could do it all so impressively. He could easily adapt to being either a Tag team or singles wrestler too. I think his biggest weakness would be promos, and just generally lack of charisma. Have found myself really enjoying his stuff in late-90's WCW with him being a member of The Flock, and a little later producing some amazing matches with Goldberg. The Eliminators also were a class act in ECW. Shame that he never reached any further than midcard-levels wherever he went. Seems an awesome dude outside of the ring also."
[7.0] "The Eliminators were awesome, gelled perfectly and an undeniable chemistry that came at a very dry time for world wide tag team wrestling. The Eliminators helped create a "must watch" atmosphere for ECW. His WCW run however never truly launched, he came in hurt and wasn't the worker he was in ECW - that whole run was one long "damn, is he ever going to be nearly the same level of worker? ". He came into the WWF as one of The Radicalz and it wasn't long before Saturn showed he was back to at least 90% of where he was. Excellent tag team with Dean Malenko here. Just as he was fitting in nicely with the WWF style (while carving his own place) he went apesh! t on an enhancement talent one faithful night and was punished with ... LOL his most notable and prominent role in the history of his career. You all know it, we don't need to go into detail. Anyway possible personality disorders (can relate) and drug issues (can't) successfully derailed his career. He was a hero at least once though and took bullets to prevent a rape. A real man's man despite the "issues" 7.25 rounded down, true potential never realized, but some of his more dazzling maneuvers likely helped inspire a generation."
[9.0] "Loved his wrestling style, his suplexes, high flying, his striking, his submissions - tiger suplex, superkick, lionsault to the outside, t bone suplex, elbow drop from the top, dead valley driver, rings of Saturn - amazing moves. Kevin Nash called him a vanilla midget, but for me, Saturn was very exciting. Of course, I enjoyed his WCW run the most, although I must say - his Superstar Billy Graham inspired look was cool, although he weighted way more then and didn? t do half of the moves he used to. He wasn t much of a talker, he did all the talking in the ring. I really liked his very brief tag title run with Raven in 99, and I thought it was really cool, that they allowed him to have an actual match with Goldberg instead of a 90 second squash. He probably went as far as he could, having the tag and mid card titles. Had he been bigger, or showed more personality, maybe the story would have been different. But I do not think there is anything wrong with being let s say WCW Television Champion."
[7.0] "I really enjoyed Saturn during his WCW run-- I found his offense varied and innovative, and his look was pretty striking. He didn't have a ton of charisma but had some strong matches during that time."
[8.0] "I don't get the negative feedback, Saturn was a madman. He looked like a lumbering brawler, but he could do some crazy things from the top rope. Completely ruined by the WWE who used him in the completely wrong way. I didn't watch much of his ECW work, but he was menacing in the WCW."
[7.0] "Some wrestlers are lucky to fall into a great gimmick. Others, like Saturn, try their absolute hardest when given a crap gimmick... and it pays off. Following ECW the companies he appeared for never seemed to have the intention of pushing him as a top guy. Despite this he was able to make himself shine while playing his role. Great in-ring performer. Much like the Big Show, Saturn's huge arsenal of high flying moves was toned down in an effort to emphasize his muscle mass and bulk. He was as capable as any luchador off the top rope and could flip, dive, and somersault with the best of them from a complete stand still. Despite this, once he reached WWE they pushed him as a Batista type powerhouse (before Batista) and all of the aerial and high risk maneuvers were gone. Such a waste!"
[5.0] "He was tough and he had a good run as the Eliminators. But other than that, he was very limited and not memorable at all. Almost no charisma and with a bad reputation as a worker."
[7.0] "Saturn had a few different roles in his time. The Eliminators were an awesome team for ECW to have & they really helped to establish that whole company. My favorite incarnation of Saturn was when he was working as Raven's right hand man in WCW. I thought he fit that enforcer role really well. When he made it to WWE he kind of became the man without an island. Chris, Eddie, & Dean all had programs, but Perry didn't have much going on. By the time he got to the Moppy thing, he was already toast. His Rings of Saturn finisher was always one I really liked."
[8.0] "Saturn was always interesting to watch in the ring with his varied move set, incorporating suplexes and throws, martial arts striking, technical wrestling and a bit of hardcore. He had good runs in both ECW and WCW, primarily as half of the Eliminators with John Kronus in the case of the former, and as part of Raven's Flock and then a solo act in the latter. He, like fellow Radicalz member Dean Malenko, was somewhat lost in the shuffle after they made the jump to WWE, but did at least pick up the Euro Title and a couple of Hardcore Title reigns while there. He reportedly had a rough go of it for a number of years in the 2000s, but reemerged in 2010 and made a number of independent appearances before officially retiring in 2013; hopefully he's in a better place now."

"Einer der besten Wrestler aller Zeiten, welcher leider ziemlich underrated ist (dabei war er der beste der Radicalz). Während die meisten Leute nur an Moppy denken wenn der Name "Perry Saturn" fällt, denke ich an die wunderbaren Matches in Ligen wie Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling und selbstverständlich der World Wrestling Federation. Zwar hat er durchaus einige fragwürdige Entscheidungen in seinem Leben getroffen, das sich in seinem Lebensstil mehr als deutlich widerspiegelte (siehe auch seine Interviews mit Bill Apter), doch ich werde mich stets an die großartigen Wrestling Matches von ihm erinnern, sowohl im Tag Team mit Kronos in der ECW, als Teil der Radicalz in der WWF, wie auch als Singles Wrestler. Einer meiner Lieblingsmomente ist auch heute noch das Ende des Matches zwischen ihm und Eddie Guerrero, welchen er um den European Title bei Fully Loaded 2000 nach einem Flying Elbow Drop schultern konnte. Eine Schande, dass nicht mehr aus ihm geworden ist, als der ewige Midcarder..... mehr Championships - oder eine längere Regentschaft als European Champion - wären sicher drin gewesen, hätten die Booker und vor allem Vincent McMahon auf den Giganten-Fetischismus einmal verzichten können und stattdessen auf das Talent geachtet, dass dieser Mann hatte. So sind leider in der größten Wrestling Promotion der Welt nur Regentschaften als European und Hardcore Champion unter seinem Namen zu finden und keine davon war besonders lang oder durch besondere Momente gekennzeichnet, wodurch der 08/15 Fan sich kaum an ihn erinnern dürfte, außer natürlich dem von mir bereits erwähnten Gimmick mit Moppy, was verdammt schade ist! Wenn jemand die volle Punktzahl verdient hat, dann ist es vor anderem Perry Saturn, der mit seinem Können im Ring überzeugen konnte und immer wieder gute Matches hervorbrachte, daher zehn Punkte. Edit: Aufgrund von zu vielen Zeichen musste dieser Beitrag gekürzt werden."
[6.0] "Saturn war für mich immer ein Garant für ein ordentliches Match. Ein harter Kerl, mit einem sehr starken Moveset. Am Mic ging er eigentlich auch. Wäre er einen Kopf größer, hätte er den Intercontinental Titel sicher gehabt."
[8.0] "Size and a lack of mic skills kept Perry Saturn from being a big star, but he was very good in the ring, could work a variety of styles, and really projected a badass vibe. Being part of the Eliminators was probably the highpoint of his career, but his arc with Raven in WCW was underrated and also worth mentioning. But as far as his later days in WCW go, or his WWF/E tenure... the less said the better."
[8.0] "Harter Hund, konnte einiges im Ring, Die Human Suplex Machine Nummer 2 neben Taz. Unique Look, starke ECW Phase mit Kronus als Eliminators, eines der komplettesten Teams aller Zeiten. Konnte immer für gute Matches sorgen, bekam allerdings aufgrund seiner speziellen Ausstrahlung und seines nahezu nicht vorhandenem Charismas nicht die nötige Zuwendung die er eigentlich verdient hätte. Belibt dennoch als einer der besseren in Erinnerung. Mochte ihn immer."
[9.0] "Spitzenmann mit unvergleichlichem Look, der für den großen Run bei WWF oder WCW zu durchgeknallt aussah und mit seinen abgefahrenen Gimmicks auch irgendwie in eine Ecke manövriert wurde, aus der er nicht mehr herauskam. Im Ring aber absolut top, mit den ganzen mustergültigen Suplessen in der Brücke, den Explodern und seinem sicheren Einsatz von Highflying-Manövern - hätte ihn gerne mal für mehrere Touren bei NJPW gesehen."
[8.0] "Ein Toptechniker, der in der WCW wirklich voll überzeugt hat. In der Fehde gegen den Flock oder gegen Jericho ein Top man. Der einen teilweise mit seinen Moves wirklich überzeugt hat. Auch heat hat er gehörig gezogen. Deswegen zu Recht ein gut!"
[10.0] "Wenn ich mir die Kommentare hier durchlese, dann muss ich wohl sagen, dass die Leute entweder GAR NICHTS oder nur das aus der WWE gesehen habe. Saturn war technisch somit das Beste was die WCW zu bieten hatte und nicht nur "in ordnung". Er hatte auch mindestens durchschnittliches Charisma was man in der Fehde mit Raven oder in der Fehde mit Jericho gut sehen konnte."
[10.0] "Saturn war in meine Augen eine Light-Variante von Vader: wrestlerisch sehr talentiert, konnte aber auch sehr stiff agieren. Körperbau, Aussehen, seine "Rings of Saturn".. da stimmte einfach fast alles. Leider konnte er bei WWE nie Fuss fassen. Macht also in Summe 9 Punkte. Die Tatsache, dass er angeschossen wurde, als er eine Frau vor einer Vergewaltigung retten wollte, rechtfertigt aber ausnahmsweise den Extrapunkt. Bei machen Wrestlern muss einfach die Privatperson mit in Betracht gezogen werden."
[8.0] "A highly underrated wrestler who may not have had the looks or mic skills to make it big, but in the ring, he was 1 of those great hybrid wrestlers that could perform incredibly agile moves as well as technical wrestling, shoot kicks (Karate background) and power moves. As part of the Eliminators, they were a fantastic tag team that complimented each other with different personalities. In the Radicals, he was seen as the Ringo Starr of the group, but he was still incredibly skilled in the ring. It's unfortunate that he lost some years due to a crystal meth addiction, but I'm glad to hear he was able to get clean and even return to wrestling part time."
[10.0] "Perry Saturn is one of the best wrestlers ever. This man was the total package. He was powerful. He was agile. He was a high flyer. He was a technical wrestling god. He was the definition of the best wrestler ever. I miss Saturn and I hope he will finally make his return to the main stage."

Er brachte aber auch immer eine gewisse Priese Spass mit in den Ring. Immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird mir die Zeit in der er mit Röckchen zum Ring kam. Ach ja, lang ist's her."
[6.0] "Ganz außergewöhnlicher Wrestler, dieser Saturn. Gefiel mir von Anfang bis Ende kämpferisch sehr gut, speziell dass seine Aktionen immer sehr luftig, leicht anmuteten. Zudem hatte seine Kampfkleidung und die Persönlichkeit auf amüsante Weise etwas Schräges. Bleibt mir in Erinnerung."

[6.0] "Im Tag Team mit John Kronus bei der ECW gut, später in der WCW und WWF aber doch nur Mittelmaß! Gefiel mir bei den Radicalz nochmal sehr gut, war aber das schwächste Mitglied der Gruppierung! Seine Zeit, in der er mit einem Wischmop durch die Gegend rannte, war etwas erniedrigend für ihn, finde ich. Lustig war es aber auch!"
[10.0] "Phänomenal in der ECW, großartig in der WCW und passabel in der WWE. Habe von seiner TNA - Zeit leider nix gesehen, aber dennoch bekommt er eine glatte 10!"
[8.0] "Schon allein für seine Zivilcourage 8 Punkte! Technisch auch sehr geil, allerdings fehlte mir immer eine gewisse Austrahlung. Somit wirkte er in Teams stets brauchbar aber einzeln nicht sonderlich gut. Sein Gimmick in der WWE mit einem Besen und seine dortigen, Milchkuh-ähnlichen Outfits hab ich allerdings nie kappiert.. naja, WWE halt.."
[6.0] "Hat mir immer ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Ich glaube seit einer WCW Classic Sendung, wo ein Match gegen Raven gezeigt wurde. Tja, das waren noch Zeiten. Dennoch sind ihm die ganz großen Erfolg verwehrt geblieben."
