Adam Bomb

[5.0] "Childhood me thought Adam Bomb looked like the coolest motherfucker to have ever lived and as a result he will always have a place in my heart. I could never work out why he wasn't the champion until I got old and grey and watched him wrestle and had my road to Damascus moment."

[6.0] "Ups n downs. His Nightstalker era in WCW is just awful, he wasn't ready for television. I liked Adam Bomb, despite some of it being kinda stupid/standard cartoony WWF. Just as his run as Adam Bomb seemed to be peaking - the rug was pulled. Wrath in WCW started with the massively silly Glacier feud. Ugh. Tag team with Mortis was GOOD though, the unique technical offense of Mortis meshed well with Wrath's brute force. His ascension in the card as Wrath standing alone was SOLID. This era of his work was so enjoyable at the time and felt like a breath of fresh air. He looked so good here. Again though, things were cut from under him. HMMM! KroniK was. uhm, I dunno, it was kinda fun in a somewhat terrible way. The return to the WWF was that thing. Results? eh we'll give him a 6.25"

[5.0] "Never had any success in the Fed but his WCW runs as a member of Kroink and Wrath. To me he never really stood out positively or negatively as his matches and promos were normally fine."

[7.0] "Ok before anyone craps on this comment. I'm a Reliving the War fan and have been watching Bryan Clarke's career as Wrath in WCW. I've always been a fan of his tag with Mortis (Kanyon) [RIP]. They looked so cool and could've been WCW tag champs in my opinion because they had the heavyweight wrestling (Clarke) and the more agile Mortis. Clarke's career in WWF as Adam Bomb was nothing to go wild about. He could've been an IC champ because he was a crazy look. Kronik is also a nice highlight of his career."

[8.0] "Wrath is way under rated here. For a big guy, he could really move and even do some flying. He always has an intense presence and style. I always felt he deserved a big push, be never got it, and that's too bad, he could have been great. Solid 8 from me."

[5.0] "Dude had the look and a pretty impressive move set for a guy his size, but he got saddled with some lame gimmicks and was just stuck in lower mid card purgatory until he got repackaged into Kronik. A shame he got heat for that match with Brian Adams against Taker and Kane because he didn't look as bad as the others. They put him on a winning streak in late 98 WCW, then he ran into head booker Kevin Nash and got squashed which ruined his image a little bit."

[8.0] "Bryan Clark at his peak was an absolute specimen. Real fun to watch with his power moves and sometimes hybrid style. His time as Wrath being my personal favorite as he teamed with Mortis. Check out his matches against the Faces of Fear, absolute wars those two teams had."

[4.0] "Adam Bomb is the very definition of mediocre. He had a great look, a good gimmick (maybe? ), an awesome ring name, and an intimidating presence. But in the ring and on the mic, I found it impossible to care about him. His KroniK tag team with Brian Adams was alright but still uninspiring and dull to watch. I think he *could* be a better worker if given a chance to work with vets and experienced guys, but there's not even a peek of potential based on what I've seen."

[7.0] "Powerhouse, interesting look, his pumphandle slam was absolutely awesome. Very athletic, especially for his size. I did not watch much WCW towards the end, but I was happy they used him and Adams."

[4.0] "Clarke was an extremely generic big man. He was more suited in a tag team role, where he was decent but unspectacular. He wasn't an embarrassment in the ring or anything, but he also didn't bring much to the table."

[4.0] "Decent as Adam Bomb, ok as Bryan Clarke, and horrible as the Night Stalker. I thought he could have received more of a push in the WWF, and was really underused in WCW during the ratings war."

[2.0] "I don't think the average rating he has here really reflect on what he did. A very poor wrestler with no stand out matches in his career. He was also wasn't good on the mic. To be fair there is some strength and power in his move-set and he has a good size but that's basically it."

[6.0] "I always found it kind of surprising that Clarke/Wrath/Bomb didn't become a bigger deal. Had the size, power, look and intensity that the WWF normally went for, but as Adam Bomb he never got out of the midcard ranks. Did seem occasionally a bit stiff in the ring. Had a shot at the upper card when WCW began building him with an undefeated streak, but the wind was taken out of his sails when he lost to Bam Bam Bigelow at Souled Out '99 and suffered a year-long injury shortly thereafter. Went on to form a decent tag team with Brian Adams as Kronik, which finally did garner him tag team gold in WCW and later AJPW (with an abortive WWF tag run in between)."

[6.0] "Adam Bomb was a great gimmick with an exciting moveset. He should have gotten the push Crush got at this time. He had potential to be more I think the horrible match opposite the Brothers of Destruction may have tainted people's views on him."

[4.0] "Adam Bomb had a good look and impressive size but lacked the in-ring or mic skills to become a star."

[4.0] "I think he's a little overrated here. Powerful wrestler with some decent power moves but that's about it. Never got over entirely and little to no mic skills. I feel it's possible that nostalgia is driving his score up to undeserved heights."

[8.0] "One of the most underrated wrestler in wrestling history. This guy had almost everything ( especially as a WRATH gimmick in WcW ). It is hard to believe that he never won any belt as a single wrestler. That make me sad."

[6.0] "It's hard to believe that WWF used him largely as a jobber at first. I mean look at his size and he could actually work ok for a big man. Adam Bomb was a pretty rough gimmick to get over. Wrath on the other hand was great, maybe not so much debuting Wrath, but after the blood runs cold angle died."

[6.0] "Adam Bomb/Bryan Clark found his perfect dimension as a tag team wrestler with the deceased Brian Adams, after spending most of his career in the WWF low-card. However, I think that he was a normal worker, with a good look and decent ring skills for his size."
