While the company was known for chaos, weapons, and spot-heavy matches, CW brought a throwback, NWA-style grit that made him stand out. He was never about high spots or flash. He was about stiff strikes, tight holds, and old-school ass-whoopings that looked like they hurt for real. His look was no-nonsense, his promos were simple but believable, and his work ethic was unmatched. Every time CW stepped in the ring, you knew you were going to get a physical, believable fight. He wasn't flashy, but he was crisp, snug, and brought a level of realism that a lot of the roster lacked. His spinebuster remains one of the best in the business, snapping opponents in half with more impact than guys twice his size. His feud with Tommy Dreamer during ECW's dying days was quietly one of the most brutal and personal programs the company had. Their match at Guilty as Charged 2001 is a blood-soaked, underappreciated gem that showed just how good CW really was when the spotlight was finally on him. CW didn't have the name value or the over-the-top character of some of his peers, but his body of work speaks for itself. He was a workhorse, a throwback, and a guy who gave ECW some of its last true wrestling credibility before the doors closed. CW Anderson was the enforcer ECW needed and never fully appreciated. A rock-solid technician with an old-school mentality, a dangerous right hand, and a spinebuster that could end your night. An unsung legend who deserves way more respect than he gets. |

He was slowly but surely rising the ranks in ECW, with his PPV matches with Tommy Dreamer being his peak performances, but when the compny died, he never truly found his footing elsewhere and slowly faded away, with a lot of untapped potential. His one biggest downfall seemed to be his own ego, as his interviews let transparate his self-image as a perfect worker adored from absolutely everybody while never catching a break, and that absolutely nothing in his professional and personal life was ever his fault, which just doesn't match with his visible career path. |

CW Anderson is a wrestler who fits under the Anderson name (while he is not a true Anderson) his talent makes him worthy to carry that name. |

Und obwohl er viele Jahre in interessanten Ligen gekämpft hat, in der er über die Zeit seine Fähigkeiten man Mic und bei Auftritten im Allgemeinen hätte verbessern können. So war es dann aber nicht und daraus ergibt sich das Bild eines soliden Workers im Ring, der durchaus viele Stile mitgehen kann, jedoch genau auf diesem Level stehen geblieben ist. Vielleicht war auch einfach nicht mehr drin. |
