| 25.01.2025 | Brutish Dandy | 4.0 | Just a really, really boring worker. I'm sorry, guys, but him being the obligatory pure technical wrestler in FMW just did nothing for me. Especially considering that his analogues in ECW were guys like Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and Perry Saturn. Lacked intensity and his matches just dragged on forever as he ground all excitement and dynamism out of guys like Hayabusa and Gannosuke. A good technical wrestler elevates the opponent. A bad one just turns a match into a chore to watch. |

| 30.04.2023 | tmxicon | 6.0 | Oya carved out his little place by often being the pro wrestling equivalent to the comedic straight man on the deathmatch scene. Given my low affinity for that style of pro wrestling, he was often one of the more enjoyable parts on any card he was on to me. That said, there isn't a single match that stands out to me as being particularly good because of his involvement. He's solid and consistent as a worker, which is something I can appreciate. |
| 07.02.2022 | CoolKyle | 7.0 | Oya is one of the funniest wrestlers ever. A balding dork who likes to play technical wrestler but is stuck in a garbage fed and somehow has the worlds deadliest backdrop. |

| 26.07.2012 | Leone | 9.0 | An underrated gem of a wrestler from FMW in the 1990s whose fond remembering eclipses his actual success, Oya put on the best singles matches in FMW when he worked with Hayabusa. He didn't need weapons, rather he is very psychological in his approach, using basic but effective suplexes, submissions and strikes in his arsenal to build up the pain factor gradually. He may not have had the look of a wrestler or the mic skills, but he was and still is very good. |
