[1.0] "Hornswoggle gets a point because he was just doing what was asked of him. But his run in WWE represents everything I hated about Vince's worst impulses as a booker. The whole gimmick wasn't funny. It wasn't even amusing. It was just stupid and not remotely entertaining even in a WrestleCrap kind of way. The character was also one of the reasons I lost interest in wrestling for a while. Because whoever the audience was for this, it wasn't me. It would be one thing if he had just made occasional appearances. But Vince insisted on shoving him down the audience's throats for YEARS."

[0.0] "Look, I know it's just a guy doing his job... but boy oh boy was this whole Hornswoggle gimmick absolutely awful. TV ruining, storyline ruining, product ruining, just pure awful. I know that I wasn't the target audience for it back then, and that's perfectly fine. But as somebody who was on the older side when watching WWE during the height of the Hornswoggle stuff, man it was just unbearable."

[7.0] "He obviously never was going to main event WrestleMania, but his WeeLC match proved he can exceed beyond everyone's expectations. His match with Orange Cassidy at Beyond also proved this. He absolutely deserves his WWE Legends deal."

[8.0] "Obviously designed to be a comedy act, he was maybe invovled in one too many big storylines over the years. That being said, the wee el cee match will go down in history as one of the most creative, hard worked, and surprisingly entertaining matches in the entire history of wwe. pair that with some decent showings here and there and you've got a good servant to the wwe. other highlights were both mr mcmahon's and finlays son"

[2.0] "Hornswoggle didn't really do anything except run around, which was funny at first, then he had a comedy match that fans gaslit themselves into believing was an actual great match. It was funny and served its purpose. Hornswoggle didn't do anything wrong but he didn't do anything great."

[4.0] "Hornswoggle may not have been a technical master or a main-event talent, but he carved out a memorable niche as a comedy/gimmick performer during a unique era of WWE. While his matches weren't five-star classics, his character work was consistent, and he was often a crowd favorite--especially among kids. His role in the Cruiserweight division, DX skits, and even some bizarre angles (like the Vince McMahon paternity storyline) showed his versatility in the entertainment side of wrestling. Not everyone's cup of tea, but undeniably part of WWE's pop culture fabric for a time."

[0.0] "To be honest, he was overdone and shoved down our throats far too long. His gimmick of the Leprechaun was too childish in my book. Which, to a certain audience it appeals to. But anyone over age 10, is not going to like the Hornswoggle gimmick. He's a decent athlete and a decent worker I'd say. He also kind of comes across as being very cantankerous and bitter at the world sometimes. Him winning the Cruiserweight Championship was the death of the division and it wasn't even resurrected until almost a full decade later. So, yeah."

[1.0] "The only good match he was in was on a pre-show. Anything he involved in was made instantly worth becuase of his involvement. I never once found him funny like was intended. He also helped bury the Nexus with John Cena in the 2011 royal rumble. Foley's last non royal rumble match was with Hornswoggle also, not good. Being the annonymous Raw General manager, Vince's illegitimate son and more make even the sight of him tiresome."

[5.0] "He's a tough one to rate. On one hand, his cruiserweight run, storyline with Vince and feud with Chavo were absolutely awful. At the same time, those were poor Vince decisions and shouldn't be held against him. He did well as a manager for Finlay and was always way over. He gets points for that WeeLC match too"

[4.0] "Honestly, Swoggle was always used for comedy; they never looked for talent or quality, he was simply used as a joke. No matter what story, as Vince's son, as DX's mascot, like when he accompanied Finlay, he was always used as a joke. And that's why he was bad, because they didn't use him for his talent. But I feel, although he's not funny, he's quite fun. I especially like his story with DX, when they were in a trial of little people and above all, a nice Christmas, with Triple H showing a DVD of himself, with Michaels playing with toy Wrestlers."

[4.0] "One of the most recognisable little people in professional wrestling. His "Little Bastard" gimmick with Finlay was gold in the early 2000s. His character work did start to falter in later years but WeeLC proved he and good matches in him. Not a world beater or anything but pretty good for what he brings to the table"

[1.0] "Along with the guest hosts, probably the worst part of 2009-2010 Raw. Not because he was a midget, but because they exploited that part for "comedic" reasons, none of which were even remotely funny. Even in late 2007, after the Benoit tragedy, the act was just lame. He deserved better."

[7.0] "Hornswoggle is a goofy gimmick that should be analyzed more for what he is than what he should or could be. Obviously hes limited in almost every way, but he still manages to get himself over in pretty much any situation, also worth noting he was probably the first little wrestler to ever really become as popular as he did. Always enjoyed seeing hornswoggle, and this should go without saying but if you've never watched the wee-l-c match i beg you to do so"

[1.0] "Come on. There is absolutely nothing to him. No mic skills, no in-ring talent, definitely no presence. A joke character. That's it. And not a very funny one, at that. I don't know what WWE was on to make him such a reoccurring character for so long. He only lowered the quality of whatever he was put into."

[8.0] "Fairly limited in ring, but knows his weaknesses & is able to take what is effectively the oldest joke in human history & make it work for him. His matches with Brian Myers, El Torito, Fallah Bahh, etc & the massive ladder bump from Mr. Kennedy @ Wrestlemania 23 prove that Dylan is more than a silly gimmick. On the note of silly gimmicks, Dylan's time as "Hornswoggle" in mid-late 2000's era WWE stood out to me as a shining moment; great comedy work that proves that once in a blue moon, wrestling doesn't have to be so serious all the time. Interviews reveal a kind, gentle soul with a passion for the business. I can't say enough good things about Dylan."

[3.0] "A Funny guy , i think we doesn't realise how hard it is to make yourself a place in wrestling if you are midget. I think he just do his best with they ask him to do , and we could not blame him for that."

[2.0] "Hornswoggle is an interesting character/performer to me. He's definitely not good in the ring whatsoever, but does that seriously "justify" so many zeros? I don't believe so, which is why I gave him a 2 since I feel it's not right to give him a zero, but at the same time, he wasn't meant to be a real wrestler in the sense that he is more meant for comedy skits and other storylines, which he did a decent job at. He's fun to listen to on past interviews and seems to really enjoy being in wrestling. I'll cut some slack and give him credit for being somewhat entertaining because unlike some people who found him to be "unbearable", I found him to at least contribute some comedy in one way or another."

[0.0] "Around the time I stopped watching or caring and would then only tune in now and again to see if it was better: This thing. He even showed up to screw up more than one Royal Rumble. Also, he's a legit moron and that doesn't help."

[5.0] "On the one hand, I understand why people hate this guy, because of childish gimmick and cringey storylines, but on the other hand I don't think the hate is justified. Everyone seems to forget that Vince McMahon is an exploitative, carny piece of shit who loves things like laughing at little people. It's the exact same thing that happened with Nick Dinsmore and the Eugene character. For what he was given, Dylan Postl did a fine job, and I'm sure he made a lot of money doing it, so good for him. In-ring he's really not that bad either, relatively speaking. And by all accounts he's a truly genuine and kind person, which means a lot in this industry. I dunno, I guess I wish people on this site could divorce the character from the performer, because he absolutely does not deserve to have like 1/4 of his ratings be literal zeroes."

[4.0] "Relative to his size, Hornswoggle was capable of putting on entertaining segments. The problem came with booking him as obnoxiously as possible. Solid in-ring worker and charismatic, but Vince didn't know how not to shove him down the audience's throat. Arguably the most popular little person in American pro wrestling history"

[5.0] "Hornswoggle gets too much hate imo... yes his booking sucked a lot of the time and he is part of many of the worst moments in the naughties of WWE, but the guy had a surprising amount of charisma, I have found myself laughing at small little mannerisms of his far more often then I'd like to admit. Additionally he could work in the ring if you gave him the right guy, at the very least he wasn't a broomstick, although most of this ranking comes down to his character work."

[8.0] "Swoggle gets way too much hate and he is honestly one of the best micro/mini wrestlers in the United States. He was poorly booked besides besides the 3MB/Diego & Fernando feud. Swoggle's work on the indies and outside of WWE is awesome, and even his stint with Zelina Vega in the royal rumble was something very memorable. I also enjoyed his feud with Boogeyman and him teaming with Finlay was cool. Swoggle's time in WWE is hit or miss, but the rating on this is so messed up compared to other mini wrestlers who are ranked like they are John Cena or something."

[2.0] "Did you ever have an annoying little 4 foot 3 prick in school that tried to bully others almost twice his size and would go around punching people because "your not allowed to hit him back? " Hornswoggle reminded me of one of those botched pregnancies that used to hang around our High School, cutting classes and smoking cigarettes. Just an annoying little shit you wanted to see get flattened for attacking everybody. High point of his career was taking a trash can to the face from JBL."

[7.0] "The best one on one match I've seen of Swoggle is against Kikutaro at PCW's Tuff Luck event and it's on YT, I absolutely recommend it."

[3.0] "In terms of wrestling, I've barely ever seen him wrestle. The Wee-LC match was funny, but it was an obvious comedy sketch. I believe that, had he been a manager or mascot of sorts, he'd be great. I could see him be a pretty decent manager, if he found the right gimmick. But he has to stay away from in ring action."

[5.0] "I liked Hornswoggle when I was younger. And I still like this wrestler, but not in the same way. I'm trying to take him a little more seriously, and judge his matches by in-ring quality, and not just say he's short and wrestles. And as far as in-ring skills go, it couldn't be more correct for me. He's not bad, but it's far from being amazing."

[3.0] "He has wrestled far to many times for my tastes. However when he first came in at wwe he had a good run as far as comedy angles go. I just don? t want to see a midget wrestling every week."

[1.0] "Swoggle is terrible. Not sure why indie promotions use him, other than the fact that he used to wrestle for WWE. A comedy wrestler that is fat and not in great shape. Props to him for making it to WWE and later Impact wrestling and House of Hardcore despite his size. But still he is not a great wrestler, not skilled and not great on the mic either. Every time I see him, it's like not that guy again. His time has come and passed. No one really cares about him much anymore and he is horrible in the ring so no need for promotions to use him."

[6.0] "Say what you will about his time in WWE but his indy matches have been, dare I say, fun! For that and his role in WEELC, I'll give him a 6."

[3.0] "Was only used more of a mascot than a wrestler! He was Finaly`s sidekick! He could, not wrestle! He was a better entertainer!"

[0.0] "Lol he is no one . Every his match was a garbage . Only good match is his weelc match . But really who want to see him winning title."

[2.0] "Hornswoggle was fine when he was initially introduced as a part of Finlay's act, but he quickly became overbearing & due to Vince's childlike mind, he was pushed much harder than he should have been. One segment that's forever burned in my brain is when he drew a Looney Toons style door on a wall to escape from Carlito. One of the worst segments of all time, in my opinion. I could fill a page with all the dumb segments involving him, but I don't want to hurt my brain too much by recalling all that horror."

[0.0] "A midget wrestler who appeared in many unfunny "comedy" matches for WWE and seemed to frequently show up as the payoff to the company's angles. I cannot recall a single Hornswoggle match or segment that I actually liked."

[0.0] "Back in the 60s and 70s there was a big market for, pardon the term, midget wrestling. Interest has waned ever since but I do think that you should never be discouraged to do what you love no matter how big or small you are. That being said Swoggle didn't do any favors for the little guys of wrestling when he took up the mantle as Fit Finlays personal Leprechaun. He was a running gag, and it sure as hell was bad enough stuff to make people gag! Vince used Swoggle to single handedly comatose the Cruiserweight Championship (to which it took nearly a decade to 'wake up'). Being involved with any of his segments was career suicide unless you were Finlay (who's such a badass it doesn't matter if you put him with a box of lucky charms)."

[9.0] "When he gets to wrestle and do promos he is really, super fun to watch and he has one of my favorite matches of all at Extreme Rules Kickoff with Los Matadores, El Torito, 3MB in the Wee L Cee at Extreme Rules. Hornswoghle is quite good. Also watching his promo and under the ring stuff he is quite charismatic."

[6.0] "His role is to do comedy stuff and I think he have done good work in his WWE career, as well as he showed against El torito that he can be good in Ring too if given chances, he will probably will best known for his time from 2006-2009 in WWE."

[2.0] "One of the low points of a generally low point in WWE history, Hornswoggle has stunk up the roster for quite a few years now. Thankfully his match with El Torito at TLC last year was much better than I expected."

Whenever someone lost a big time match against john cena on a ppv the next night u would see hornswoggle associated with that person in some sort of dumb segment. whenever u wanted someone to get a push they get humilliated by hornswoggle and in more than one ocassion hornswoggle occupied valuable time slot from wwe ppv's and shows by showing up in non funny segments that tried too hard. Whenever wwe made him kiss divas or when he was the raw general manager or when he was vince's illegitimate son whose position initially was going to be for mr. kennedy and we know how that turned out. or when hornswoggle would just be a pain in the ass to all of us fans, this guy is not short of me to say was a literal pain and pest that we all wish we could forget... if you had a match against hornswoggle and wether u lose or win it doesnt matter... you're automatically a jobber from that point ownards."
