[7.0] "Ray Canty was a gritty to boot, Japan underwent to say best work than his career back home. His tag team with Leroy Brown speaks utter ignorance to what the NWA thought about people of colour. A commando gimmick from Africa, he was from Atlanta, Georgia. Mainly getting plans to open a bigger space to train full wrestlers. The most notable was New Jack, a heel who transformed his image so much that many coped. Ray Candy was a legend and deserves more credit."

[4.0] "Candy may not have had the skill to make his way to the upper ranks of the card, but he was solid enough in the ring to get the job done in the undercard and tag ranks. As a single, with his size he was able to make others look impressive just by lifting him and by beating him, and did claim some singles belts in the territories along the way. He had some decent success, too, in the tag ranks, claiming a number of NWA and AWA regional tag titles, notably under the Kareem Muhammad name as half of the Zambuie Express alongside Elijah Akeem (Leroy Brown). More recent fans may know his name best for being the somewhat unlikely trainer of New Jack."

I guess if you like big slothful nonbumpers who throw sloppy offense, he's your kind of unwatchable crap! 0.75 rounded up for The Stupi=*ahem* Superfly"

[7.0] "A memorable character in the South. Had some great feuds with Bruiser Brody and Abdullah the Butcher. He was amazing in Japan. In Georgia he was brilliant. great on the mic skills. With Leroy Brown as the Zambuie Express they were excellent. Afterwards he continued travelling and forming other tag teams. He career would go downhill."
