"I followed his amateur career & Olympics - he was amazing. But, and its no where in the listings, the first time he appeared on WWWF tv show he injured his shoulder, the ropes were not his friend. If only his health had been better, he would have been a champion."

[8.0] "taylor was going to be quite a big star... figerative as well as literal. as a 400 pounder taylor was always going to be noticed... but this guy was a standout college wrestler as well with a legitimate background. ive mostly only seen some archieve footage of him as he died very young. ive heard a few shoot interviews talking about his potential. he only wrestled in awa where the style was slow so hes slow in the footage i see... but that potential does shine through. its sad we lost him so young before he could have a run with hogan in the wwf"
