[6.0] "Pretty decent brawler with a decent gimmick in Stampede, had a couple good feuds and did well for himself up there"

[8.0] "Reminds me of Mark Henry. Great worker in the ring. His massive size was impressive. Best remember in WWWF as Jojo Andrews and Kasavubu in Stampede. Had some great feuds with Bret Hart and his brothers. Being North American was the biggest peak of his career. He also reminds me of Kamala being billed form Uganda. Too bad had heart issues which ended his life. RIP"

[7.0] "I agree with Bret Hart that this guy was a pretty good wrestler. Kasavubu sort of had a poor man's Kamala gimmick when I saw him in his Stampede Wrestling days. He played the big black man gimmick. He wore furry boots in the ring and let his manager do his talking for him. He was a very straight forward brawler. Kasavubu was designed for territory wrestling. When he was the biggest guy around, he could scare the kids watching the show. This guy put the holy terror into me as a 9-10-11 year old watching the Saturday matches. Sadly Kasavubu's health would fail him at such an early age and he would pass on before hitting his prime as a wrestler so we can only dream of what might have been. I grade wrestlers on their ability to connect to a crowd and their ability to draw money. Kasavubu was a head liner in the stampede territory and that is more than can be said for most of the high flyers of today's Independent scene"
