[0.0] "This guy was prolly the only referee in wrestling history that repeatedly affected my enjoyment of matches due to the simple fact his fat body hitting the mat JUST TO START the three count often SOUNDED like a count. As such, I've seen numerous instances where wrestlers kicked out at 1 (even late in a match) cuz they too could not discern the difference between his fat body hitting the mat and the start of the actual count. There were some matches where I literally thought there WAS a 3 count when there was only a 2 because there is literally no discernable difference between the sound of his fatness hitting the mat and the actual count itself--if the camerawork doesn't capture this it can get really confusing fast. For this reason alone, Tim White is the worst referee in wrestling history and I'm not even kidding--the ref should be the LAST thing you notice in a clean match and somehow this guy constantly managed to distract me from the actual in-ring action with his fatness affecting numerous pin counts. A zero is well-deserved for this reason alone, especially considering the sheer number of matches he reffed over time."

[10.0] "Disclaimer: There is an unfortunate angle, that I will refuse to relive when it comes time and will refuse to remark about here. It is a fast forward moment but will not impact his rating. The Review: GREAT referee. Was one of the most vocal referees and I loved hearing his bellowing tone give out 10 counts to heels taking a powder. Was one of the most giving "bumping" refs (to a fault, *sigh*). It was a REAL bummer when he was seriously injured and his refereeing career prematurely ended. What a smile, a really warm friendly face that always made me feel "ok". I liked his body language, I liked his style when he had to get involved and in general: I am a Tim White fan."

The hell in a cell between Mick and Taker at King of the Ring 1998 and the hell in a cell between Triple H and Jericho at Judgement Day 2002 which is ultimately the match that ended his career are the two that come to mind right off hand. His real life owned bar, the friendly tap in rhode island hosted many memorable bar brawls back in the attitude era. He was also the right hand man on the road for Andre The Giant which kept him in high regard over the years."

It was a little hokey at times, but in no way did I find it distasteful like so many others seemed to. It's not like it was ever done in a way where WWE was trying to pass it off as legit. It was pure comedy & anyone who found it offensive should lighten up."

[9.0] "The suicide storyline was an amoral piece of crap, but if you forget about this awkward part of his career, then we will be faced with a real hard worker who gave all of himself to work for many years. One of my favorite referees of all time, I think he deserves a higher rating"

[1.0] "The only notable thing about Tim White was that the guy tried to commit suicide numerous times back in 2005-2006. The mannerisms were sickening and got old. Luckily the guy was written off television some time in the middle of 2006. Good thing."
