[9.0] "If you like women's wrestling, then you'd like the badass story of Mildred Burke, the pioneer of women's wrestling in Japan. There'd be no joshi wrestling scene without her, and everyone should thank her for that (and forget Moolah exists)"

[10.0] "I consider Burke to be the greatest women's wrestler of all time. Like Moolah, Burke was champion for a really long time - 20 years, but she was active the entire time. Like Ronda, Burke was a legit grappler - Ed Stranger Lewis praised her abilities. He was not the type of man that gave praise where praise wasn't due. Like Chyna, Burke wrestled the boys - she wrestled 150 intergender matches and never lost any of them. Like the Crush Gals, Trish Stratus, and Manami Toyota, Burke was a box office sensation. She was so popular her matches and publicity stole newspaper headlines away from the men and that was a huge deal back in the 1950's. And she accomplished everything during an era when women weren't even allowed to wrestle on the same cards as the men."

On top of being a good wrestler who helped the development of wrestling in the US, she also left her mark in Japan with the WWWA World Championship, which inspired Stardom's current World of Stardom championship. A shame she has been largely forgotten today."

[10.0] "She was a very important person in the wrestling business but WWE doesn't mention her so she's kind of been forgotten. Burke was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2016, so they could have and should have chosen her instead of Moolah. Burke was also a bigger star than Moolah and preceded Moolah. There is live evidence of Burke's legacy, she went to Japan and helped train generations of women into pro-wrestling. The Stardom Red Belt is a tribute to the original Women's World Wrestling Association belt that was the top belt for All Japan Women."

[10.0] "One of the pioneers of pro wrestling. All the obstacles she had to go through is unbelievable. From everything that happened between her ex-husband Billy Wolfe and NWA, that didn't stopped her from trailblazing the way for generations to come, as she was even able to bring women's wrestling to Japan, being a key to what would become All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, which brought to us some of the most legendary wrestlers. Her influence to the women's wrestling is undeniable."

She gains a decent amount of recognition today and is a WWE HOFer now, so at least that level of recognition is their."
