The lack of charisma argument only worked if he was made to be a face of a promotion, but in reality his character work made him one of the better heels of his time. He is also unquestionably one of the best in-ring technicians of that era, especially if you catch his WCW & ECW work |

Always passes in the ring, but I don't think he had the extra gear to elevate bad wrestlers like some of his peers could. Like Lance Storm is not saving a match with somebody slightly over the hill or a below-average wrestler, but when he gets a dance partner that works, he's brilliant. He's been opinionated since his retirement, but I think a lot of his views miss more than they hit. |

| 48 | 13.03.2024 | ultravioletshiroi | 7.0 | It's a shame that Lance Storm has the charisma of a blobfish because he's actually a pretty good wrestler. On the bright side, good wrestlers with no charisma are numerous and play an important role as enhancement talent. Stevie Richards and Simon Dean were a few other examples who can actually wrestle a good match but could never draw a dime to save their lives. People like seeing wrestlers who both have big personalities, a good look and an unparalled intensity, so just being good at wrestling is nowhere near enough. |

| 63 | 11.05.2023 | face painted legend | 7.0 | In a world of sports entertainment, Lance stayed true to the wrestling aspect of it, and relied on his wrestling ability to get him where he needed to go. He took himself and the pro wrestling business as a whole very seriously (pun intended, and that carried over in to his character. He didn't have any personality what so ever. He wasn't going to be someone to go out and do anything entertainment related (sing, dance, tell jokes, etc). However, he could wow you with the bell rang, you were almost guaranteed a good wrestling match from him every time regardless of the opponent because that's how talented of an in ring worker he was. |

| 70 | 10.03.2023 | Conquistador37 | 7.0 | I wanted to love Lance Storm but he forced me to only like him. He immediately impresses with his fluidity and sharpness but he's also a bit robotic and woefully short on charm. He somewhat reminds me of how many view insects - flawlessly built to mechanically achieve a specific task but possibly soulless/unable to deviate; I don't think it was possible to teach Lance Storm how to be emotionally engaging. Athletically gifted and technically sound but lacking some intangibles. Where he shines however, is in tag team encounters and dying days WCW. |

| 73 | 16.01.2023 | texasyosh | 7.0 | I think Lance Storm's body of work is pretty underwhelming considering how high he's praised as a technical great. Maybe that's because he just came about at the wrong place, wrong time. I could see him fitting in many different eras of wrestling, but trying to be an up-and-coming technician on the end of ECW's peak and pre-ROH, he was between a rock and a hard place. Maybe if we got more than a stint in WAR and brief moments in ROH we would've seen more from him. I think Storm shows flashes of greatness, but it just isn't consistent to warrant a higher rating than 7. |

To be fair, he was a tad bit lacking in the promo/charisma department but Lance found ways to incorporate that into his character as a heel. He's Mr. Canadian McScowlFace and he hates shenanigans, and will kick your goddamn face off. Lance has what is in my opinion, one of the absolute best superkicks in the business. Only HBK has him beat. |
| 81 | 26.07.2022 | zachattack2023 | 6.0 | I think he is overrated I think he is a solid wrestler but he really was just a tag team wrestler and never was a big single wrestler and didn't have any classic moments or matches. |

| 90 | 28.12.2021 | Sloppy Sammy | 5.0 | I understand that he was a good technical wrestler and trainer and all that, but as an in ring performer i have always found him to be pretty overrated. He was always much better as a tag team guy, and aside from one really good scripted promo on Raw when he was in thr unamericans stable he was always pedestrian as a talker and entertainer. He wasnt the caliber of a Benoit, Guerrero, Jericho, or Dean Malenko in terms of in ring skills. Lancr was mearly above average but not truely great. |

| 99 | 20.06.2021 | Daigotsu | 8.0 | Lance Storm was a very solid technical wrestler. He almost totally lacked charisma (although WCW even managed to turn that into a strength during his big push). Very much a guy who let his in-ring work speak for itself, and he was part of a very strong WCW midcard as a result. |
