"Only seen his appearances on LFG, but he needs to be able to work another schtick. His character is very one note and he has no versatility between heel and face. In ring work is stiff. That said, seems to understand the business, and despite freaking out in character, seems to accept the need for storytelling and taking a fall where needed."
"Not funny. Cant wrestle, barely any engagement on socials. Doesn't seem like good person. Needs to look in the mirror and ask himself why he is doing this and who he actually wants to be."
[3.0] "I really can't express enough how much I can't stand this guy, as a wrestler and as a person- from what I've seen, he rubs me the wrong way. In the ring, he's clearly needing more time, gets blown up easily and doesn't do anything impressive, lacks charisma and just comes off as a real life douchebag (which, from what I've seen and hear, he really is), doesn't offer any quality mic work whatsoever, asking for someone's snapchat in a promo is an automatic failure. I could go on, but I'll leave it with taking influence from KyleEnjoysWrestling's comment since he hit it on the nail with it: "It's like he's trying to do Logan Paul, but Logan Paul is already there." Seriously, I get a ton of LP vibes from this guy, it's not even funny, how sad that you're worse than him."
[5.0] "He is trying too hard to play a Logan Paul type character, which simply does not get over with the wrestling audience. We like our heels, but not the ones who cant back their shit up ever."
[8.0] "Very polarizing character -- and this is mostly about his character, because his in-ring work is mostly yet to be seen, aside from some kinda weak TV matches in LFG. But in terms of that character, I think BJ Ray is a natural. I think he understands the business on a level you just don't see a lot. He reminds me of MJF in that way. Maybe he is that annoying fuckboy, or maybe he's just portraying it -- but the fact that we can't tell is, I think, a good thing more than a bad one."
[8.0] "This guy will be one of the greats in the future, he has the personality, he can talk and if he improves in the ring... Maybe his biggest attribute will be a double edged sword, but i have big expectations for his career."
[2.0] "Thus far he is brand new to the business & has only worked on the WWELFG training show. So take that into consideration when looking at this review. For someone who is so new to the business, he does have a grasp on the character side of what it takes to be a star. But the problem is that his character has been done before by others & done much better. It's like he's trying to do Logan Paul, but Logan Paul is already there; so why would I want to see this imitation when we already get the reality. Another problem for BJ is that he sucks in the ring. Of everyone on LFG, he had, by far, the worst cardio & would get blown up two minutes into a match."
[0.0] "This guy is all-around terrible. There seems to be some attempt to manufacture the illusion of charisma, mic skills and aura. But that is all completely fraudulent. The smoke and mirrors are not remotely effective if you're actually paying attention. His look is terrible. His in-ring subpar at best, compared to his contemporaries on LFG and Evolve. He is given way too much time on the LFG show at the expense of people with actual potential."
[6.0] "A hilarious personality going back to early 2024. The NXT locker room is already familiar with his Twitter shenanigans. He has a real strong promo base and could really be a sniveling heel in the future"
[6.0] "So far the standout of the show. Don't disappoint us. I love his troll personality. He has charisma. Hope he is taking us for a ride with his personality. I also love how he calls out and stands up to Bubba Ray on his bs. As if the entire world doesn't know Bubba is a bully. Im pretty sure they gonna give him a generic growth arc in the show. How he earns the respect of the jury, ect. One thing i don't like about him is the name, haha."
