[9.0] "When I first saw Susumu, I wasn't used to his style at all - compared to the rest of DG, he didn't fly as much and wasn't as fast. Then, from there, I realized where his strengths lie. His moveset is very creative and intricate, and has some wonderfully flashy power moves in his arsenal. Has one hell of a lariat, too. After seeing that out, Susumu has quickly become one of my favorites. Now I had a couple of years to further root my opinion, I can say this. Give this man something to fight for - whether it be the fate of his unit or to defend the honor of a recently-retired friend, and you will see him at his best."
[8.0] "Susumu is awesome. He's relatively small and short, but GOD does he pack a big punch. His lariats are fantastically powerful, and he works extremely well as an underdog babyface in both singles and tag matches. He lacks the 'star' quality for me to consider him as amazing as his DG peers like Hulk and Shingo, but he's definitely a great wrestler who livens up any match he's in."
