[1.0] "Teddy Hart. O Lord who is watching from above, fucking hell. He is 100% athlete. 1% brains. Where do we even begin with this self-satisfied dumb piece-of-shit-motherfucker? The ego. The asinine need for validation. The showboating. THE UNNECESSARY RISKY MOVES. What the fuck is going on inside his knucklehead? Throwing himself onto people and expecting them to catch him is the single most stupid thing I have ever seen and heard, and the fact that he did that without a single fuck given shows how much of an idiot he is. He is a heat magnet no matter where he goes. The fans knew as much as the wrestlers and promoters about how much of a bastard he is. Teddy, no matter what he did or said, will always be the black sheep and an eternal embarrassment to the Hart family as of whole, especially after the scramble cage match and his comments in the aftermath. This natural-born moron makes Low Ki and Austin fucking Aries look like Saints compared to him. YES, I said that! Low Ki, who is known for burning too many bridges and delivering unnecessary stiff shots, is a better wrestler AND person compared to Teddy! You read that right, and I said that with absolute certainty. I mean, how in the name of Jim Cornette's thin patience did he even get to the ring in the first place? The only theory I have is that he used his family connections and heritage to join the business and sport... typical. He had the potential, the talent, the skills and it all went to the Goddamn drain because of his pride. And that is not mentioning the legal issues. Good grief, this guy..."
[2.0] "Oh, Teddy Hart. What a waste. He was the youngest person to ever sign a WWE developmental contract at the age of 18, but wound up completing his studies at the Low Ki School of Getting in Your Own Way with a master's degree in pissing people off. He's a tremendously gifted athlete, I mean, just watch any highlight reel of him. It's ridiculous. Bro would get so much hangtime he could take a nap up there. He has a very unique and diverse moveset which all look really, really cool. But here's the thing: I honestly don't think Teddy Hart knows wrestling is staged. Or rather, I'm sure he does know, but he's in denial. Watching him wrestle is like watching a video game, where he just spams big moves, with no real rhyme or reason between them. He just wants to do all of his cool shit at the expense of everyone else around him, which really can't work in a cooperative performance art like this. If he wrestled like a normal person and then busted out all those moves sparingly, he'd be one of the best wrestlers in the world. Because (when he's not being reckless) he's very crisp, very precise and accurate. But instead it's literally big move after big move after big move after big move and eventually we all just stop caring because it's just Teddy showing off again. Of course, all of this is to say nothing of Ted Annis the man, who is one of the lowest forms of human slime slithering around on this earth. Dude should be in prison for the rest of his life but I won't get into that. Even if he were an angel outside the ring though, the 2 would stand (really it's a 1.5 rounded up). And the promos. Oh lord, the promos. What's that saying? It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt? What a ridiculously gifted performer who squandered it all with his narcissism and terrible attitude."
[2.0] "Such a gifted athlete. Completely lacks psychology when it comes to the bigger picture of a show. Always so many flips and crazy stuff with no purpose or effect. Doesn't help he's a terrible person in real life. He came through the scene a few months back, and totally ruined the shows he was on. Cut promos ON THE FANS over things not pertaining to the show or storylines, had uneventful matches with big spots against what seems like new wrestlers to the industry. No more Ted please and thanks."
[2.0] "I might sound like a hater here but Teddy Hart is only considered good because of what could have been. He was a prospect. He could have had a long career in the WWE. He didn't. He had great athletic ability. He could have had a great output of matches. He didn't. He could have been a great guy to have in the locker room. Have matches that teach young guys. Put over top guys. He didn't do that (as far as I know). On top of all that, he seems like a bad guy. His "legal troubles" section on wikipedia is much more stacked than his match guide on cagematch. 2 out of 10 is more than a fair rating. I bet he had a bunch of 3.25 star matches on indie shows that weren't televised and that is still worth something."
[0.0] "Teddy Hart, a third-generation member of the renowned Hart wrestling family, demonstrated immense talent and potential early in his career. However, his professional journey has been marred by numerous legal issues and allegations that have overshadowed his in-ring accomplishments. In 2013 and 2014, Hart faced charges in Alberta, Canada, including assault, unlawful confinement, and sexual assault involving two women. While these charges were eventually dropped, the accusations raised serious concerns about his conduct and character. Further controversy surrounded Hart in 2020 when he was arrested multiple times. In March, he was charged with assaulting his girlfriend, fellow wrestler Maria Manic, leading to significant public backlash. In July 2023, Hart was arrested in Florida on felony drug possession charges, including possession of MDMA and a controlled substance without a prescription. These incidents, coupled with his erratic behavior and strained relationships within the wrestling community, have significantly tarnished Hart's reputation. Despite his wrestling lineage and initial promise, his actions have led to a legacy defined more by controversy than by achievement. For these reasons, I rate Teddy Hart 0/10."
[0.0] "Teddy Hart is one of the biggest what-ifs in wrestling history -- a guy who had all the raw talent in the world and burned nearly every bridge he walked across. In the ring, especially in his early days, he was wildly innovative. He was pulling off moves and sequences years ahead of their time, blending athleticism with high-risk spots that could have made him a top star. But talent only takes you so far when your behavior keeps dragging you down. He's been given more chances than most wrestlers ever get, and almost every time it ended in controversy, erratic behavior, or outright chaos. Promotions couldn't trust him. Peers grew tired of the drama. Legal troubles and bizarre public appearances turned him into a cautionary tale rather than a success story. He wasn't misunderstood -- he just couldn't stay out of his own way. Teddy could have been a game-changer in the business. Instead, he's remembered more for wasted potential than for anything he actually achieved. Talent doesn't mean much when it's constantly sabotaged."
[4.0] "Like Jack Evans, Teddy Hart is why high flying wrestlers get an undeserved bad rep nowadays, just like Khali and Omos did for the powerhouses. No ring psychology, just spamming of high flying moves for crowd pops, when the greats Like Rey and Eddie told stories through their moves."
[0.0] "Ignoring wrestlers that have committed actual crimes, Teddy Hart is my least favorite wrestler of all time. He's actually got some athletic talent but his wrestling psychology is so terrible that it undermines those qualities. He's got enough talent to be the next Shawn Michaels but he's got none of Michaels' wrestling psychology. He reminds me a lot of this quote from The Disaster Artist (the book, not the movie): "Of course [Tommy Wiseau] loves Brando and Dean, I thought. They're captivating actors because they know exactly when to yell, when to floor it. Tommy believed you had to floor it for the duration of every scene." Hart is like that with Michaels, Jeff Hardy, and RVD. They know exactly when to break out the crazy moves, when to start spamming finishers. Hart just does that without consideration for how it would work in a match."
[6.0] "legendary talent and innovation, similarly legendary piece of shit, makes a lot of sense actually, he's gotta be so self-indulgent in whatever he is doing"
[8.0] "If Teddy Hart wasn't such a loose cannon he could have had potential as a star of some kind. The guy is crazy athletic and great in the ring but unfortunately his personality always let him down at the same time. Had he been signed a real contract with WWE he would have been fired in no time given his antics, like not honoring his script."
[6.0] "I enjoyed Teddy during his MLW run, and felt like he always carried himself well, with a unique strangeness to him that helped him stand out. It's too bad about his activities outside the ring, because this guy should have been something."
[3.0] "I have almost never heard anyone saying good things about Teddy as a human being. I never found him to be intriguing as a wrestler either. He often botches in the ring and almost universally hated as an individual. I don't know whether Teddy is a wasted talent because I never found him to be that talented."
[4.0] "A guy with natural athletic ability and a great legacy who many aspiring wrestlers or even wrestlers nowadays would die to have for. But, personal decisions took the best of him and stopped his career from going further. Sadly or gladly, people don't want to do anything with him because he always does something in his personal life that keeps him away from becoming better. How many second chances does this guy need?"
[4.0] "Has natural talent been squandered on a bigger pain in the ass douche bag than this guy? When Teddy came along, people were buzzing he would be on the level of Austin or Rock someday or maybe even his Uncle Bret Hart. He promptly pissed away every opportunity and more or less got himself blackballed from all the big time promotions and now has to settle for those "outlaw mud shows" to pay rent while he screws up his persona life. This kind of behavior never ends well in the world of pro wrestling. Can't give him higher than a 4 despite his skills because he was never around long enough in the big leagues to advance his career. His career could have been a runaway train to the top, but he derailed that express long ago."
[3.0] "Good athlete but his issues backstage has cost him a future in the business repeatedly. He does all the flips well and would be incredibly talented in any cruiserweight or x division. He is not as good a technical wrestler as some of his family members but that is a super high bar. His psychology is lacking being more of a spot monkey. His biggest issue is his ability to sabotage himself with legal issues, backstage issues and no showing matches. Had a lot of potential but never managed to do anything with it"
"As much as I enjoyed watching Teddy Hart wrestling. After seeing the documentary on Peacock I cannot look at him the same way. This is the one Lizardman doesn't approve."
"One of my favorite indy wrestlers of my time which was around 2003-2007. Crazy moveset. Very athletic. He speaks what he thinks without caring about consequences which is the reason no promotion wants to deal with him. He legit does not give a fuck and can actually fight. Him not being able to keep his mouth shut and his attitude backstage is the reason he never got much exposure or worked for a major company. I think he thrived most in Mexico indies and AAA until he also fucked up. Still one of the great indie darlings despite him being an asshole. I like his interviews. He speaks the truth with no filters. His innovation and creativity have made him have one of the largest and deadliest movesets with like more than 20 finishers and high flying maneuvers"
[6.0] "Teddy is what I'd consider a perfect example of wasted potential. Already made with the Hart moniker, dude was incredibly impressive in his early indie days, being able to perform sensational high flying moves mixed with athletic flips: basically the prototypical "indie wrestler" style we see today, and he was easily the most talented out of the next gen Hart wrestlers in terms of just raw physical talent, guy could go. Would have been perfect in the X-Division TNA but his rather infamous attitude problems have meant that every attempt to try and invest tangible effort into Teddy beyond singular indie showings has been disastrous, all the way to his first run in WWE developmental, where he would have easily made the main roster given his rep. He's a good wrestler but his development hasn't really gone anywhere beyond the "crazy moves" style that he had when he was younger, which means that he's usually the one getting led around in his matches lest his opponent actually wants some structure. Should've been a bigger deal in general."
[6.0] "With his ability and potential, as well as his link to the Hart family, Teddy's role as a future superstar seemed to be his to lose. But while his athleticism and penchant for risk-taking aerial offense was impressive, his progress in learning ring psychology never seemed to fully develop, and moreover, attitude and personal issues in and out of wrestling would rear their heads time and again, burning his bridges with seemingly every notable company he's worked for (WWE, TNA, ROH, MLW) and making it look increasingly unlikely that his initial potential will ever be realized."
[6.0] "It's hard to think of anyone else in the wrestling biz who is their own worst enemy as much as Teddy is his. Wrestling is filled with second & third generation stars now, but when Teddy was first getting in, it was a whole lot less common. The fact that he was a third generation Hart should have been enough to carry him a long way. Pair that with the fact that he was an amazing athlete & capable of busting out many moves people had not seen at that point & it felt like the sky was the limit for Teddy. But then his personal issues came up. His attitude was hugely problematic. And then his involvement with drugs & physical abuse of romantic partners made a true WWE run something that was just never going to materialize. He cleaned himself up a few years ago to have some success in MLW, but that ultimately ended due to more personal issues. It's a shame we never got Teddy Hart at all he could be."
[9.0] "Teddy has carved out the perfect niche character that just would not work in one of the big companies. His matches are consistently exciting with a wide range of moves. His current run with MLW is exceptional and I can't remember the last time I didn't really enjoy one of his singles matches. I'd give him a 10, but his cruelty to cats prevents it."
[9.0] "This is awful, that Teddy`s rating is so low. Most of the comments are probably from people, who only seen him in WWE. But Teddy`s performance in MLW and GCW are stunning. He is amazing athlete and great talker. Real god father of the indy"
[7.0] "Teddy Hart is one of the best wrestlers to come out of the Hart Dungeon... ever. That is saying a lot looking at the class of graduates that have come of the Dungeon. The problem with Teddy comes with attitude and past mistakes. Hopefully, his attitude has improved and he has left his mistakes in the past. His current run with MLW is going quite successful and we will have to see just where it will go."
[2.0] "Teddy Hart was an incredible athlete and he was more than capable of pulling off some crazy flips and dives. But Teddy had absolutely no grasp of psychology at all, and he was a complete and total idiot."
[9.0] "Teddy Hart is a damn good wrestler. It is due bad that due to personal issues and his behavior that he didn't become a bigger name, but this man surely can wrestle. He is one of the innovators of the extremely athletic and wacky indy style that we love, (or hate) today. Glad to see him wrestling in some good indy promotions right now."
[6.0] "If he wasn't a complete idiot he could have been one of the biggest names in wrestling for a good reason. Now he's seen as a total hothead and incredibly hard to work with despite his talent. Happy he's made a comeback of sorts because I enjoy his work but man. Wasted potential"
[9.0] "One of the most incredible wrestlers on the Indies at the moment, with some of the best work of his about 20 year career happening in Game Changer Wrestling. He is one of the most innovative wrestlers ever, and despite his reputation, is still being booked on some major promotions."
[7.0] "One of God's greatest athletes, Teddy Hart has been around for a very long time, but never reached his full potential due to personal issues and attitude problems. A member of the Hart Family, Teddy was the youngest signee to WWF/E, but before mentioned issues have derailed his career. As of late, Teddy seems to have matured and is finally showing what he is capable of."
[10.0] "I cant believe ppl would give this guy such a low rating, sure his personal life is a mess BUT his in ring ability is on par with being the best in the world!"
[5.0] "The best thing Teddy Hart ever did in his professional wrestling career was be the in-joke inspiration for Tyson Kidd's 2013-2015 character. Fact."
[7.0] "Teddy Hart is an example of someone who basically had a successful future set in stone early on... and then through arrogance, a bad attitude, and selfishness, the stone was smashed. He is a third generation wrestler of the Hart family, who possesses excellent in-ring ability (especially in high flying), he takes incredible risks when it comes to spots, he has "The look" as far as McMahon might be concerned, and he also has a certain amount of charisma as well. But these characteristics can more or less go down the toilet if opponents and promoters don't like working with you. Now technically in the prime of his career, he worked in Mexico for a time, and now he is working the Indies in Canada, when he could have been big in TNA or ROH, never mind WWE. A terrible waste of a skilled wrestler. 7 for his in-ring ability. He loses 3 for his... behaviour choices."
"HE HAS NO GIM - TED HART IST REAL, MOTHERFUCKERS! " =)"
