Lance Cade

[4.0] "There was some talent there, and he was a pretty solid tag wrestler, but he died too soon before he could go farther. As it is, he was like a lot of other bodies from the 2002-2006 period who were just hanging around."

[7.0] "Seemed like a natural, as if he was made to be a wrestler and us "old school" neanderthals saw this in spades. I absolutely L O V E D the team with Trevor Murdoch, talk about the perfect scratch for a long term itch! He had this whole massive universe of potential but it was wasted due to drug abuse. I mourn perhaps more than I blindly enjoy, which is just awful but the reality of his career. 6.75 rounded up."

[8.0] "Lance Cade is a tale of lost potential, he was really getting his stride in WWE with the Chris Jericho/HBK feud. But he was another statistic of the wrestling business. He had the look later on his career, and could cut an okay promo. Wish he was still around, he'd be a top guy in WWE."

[7.0] "I was never a big fan of this guy until I read Pete Gas's autobiography about Cade. He was very lanky at the beginning but later on got bigger in muscle. But he could fight like Bradshaw. He was great in HWA. WWE as a singles he was not good but that was management's fault. He never got any pushes. His time was Trevor Murdoch was decent. With Chris Jericho he had a little push. He was trained by Shawn Michaels. So sad he died young and could have been a much better wrestler."

[6.0] "A trainee of Shawn Michaels, Cade had a bit of trouble catching on early in his WWE run, having limited success with a generic babyface gimmick and tag run with Mark Jindrak. After reinventing himself with a cowboy gimmick and teaming up with Trevor Murdoch, though, he finally found his niche as a solid tag team wrestler and showed a bit of personality with his gimmick. Unfortunately personal issues would lead to his release from WWE, and ultimately to his early passing at age 29."

[4.0] "Lance Cade wasn't bad but he wasn't that good, and he never lived up to the potential he showed in his early days."

[2.0] "I'm going to hell for this given Garrison Cade / Lance Cade has been dead since 2010 but, I don't care. Garrison Cade was never good. Horrible cowboy look during his tag team days with Trevor Murdoch and so on and so forth. Lance Cade was pushed with being from San Antonio in 2008 with being Shawn Michaels's mentor and how he got to WWE in the first place but, the general crowd could of cared less."

[10.0] "Ever since he debuted in WWE back in 2003 as Garrison Cade, I was always a big fan of Lance Cade. Even back then I enjoyed watching his work on TV when I was in my early teen years. Then when he got called back up to the WWE roster as part of a tag team with Trevor Murdoch, Cade along with Murdoch became in my opinion, one of the greatest tag teams ever assembled in wrestling. Then in 2008 when Lance branched off on his own again and aligned himself with Chris Jericho in an awesome feud with Shawn Michaels, that was one of the greatest moves he ever made for himself because when the student (Cade) aligned himself with the devil so to speak to feud with his teacher (HBK), that more than any other time before, you saw clear as day all the potential he had in the world to be a big main event player someday but then unfortunately he got released from WWE that same year and I was always so bummed about that cause of the position he was in and the circumstances that led to his first release with the company aside from the fact that I was a big fan of his. Then when Lance got hired again in late 2009 and then released again in 2010, I was super bummed about that cause I thought he would be utilized to his full potential but unfortunately that wasn't the case. A couple months after his release, he died at such a young age which really hit me hard and now sadly he's no longer with us. RIP Lance Cade."
