[10.0] "Oba Femi is quite literally everything you could ask for in a professional wrestler. He has great matches and cuts great promos. Then you add the fact that this dude has Charisma on a whole new level. He hasn't even had a proper feud on the main roster, but the way the crowd reacts to him, you'd think he's been a main eventer for at least a year or two. In reality, he's only been wrestling for about 3 1/2 years, let alone being a main eventer on the main roster. I firmly believe that not only does Oba Femi have what it takes to be the face of WWE for the next 20 years or so, but he has what it takes to be an all-time great. He had one of the most dominant runs in NXT history while putting on some HEATERS. The fact that he already feels like one of the top heels on the main roster just shows how good he is. I hope he annihilates Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and takes his spot as the big beast of WWE. He deserves it. One of the most complete guys in pro wrestling right now."

Not a refined technician and he shouldn't be. When you're billed at 6'6" and 310lbs you should just be throwing dudes around. Has big potential as an insurmountable, monster heel. Very good athlete and honestly I think he'll be a big star in the future."

Oba has this aura around him that barely anyone else has these days. I kinda hope he gets a similar style push like 2002 Brock Lesnar. He probably won't but a man could dream."

Absolutely but he's also exactly what he needs to be. He should be the champion for the next few years. I genuinely can't wait to see him go up against WWE's top guys. The entrance, which many find cringe, is perfect for me: he looks massive, like he's going to war and I'd go to war with him without hesitation. I really hope he's booked well, because they have a true gem on their hands and the future should belong to him. I hope he moves on soon to challenge for a (mid-card) title on the main roster"

[6.0] "The fact of the matter is, this guy is just being insanely overhyped. A 10 should be for someone who's legitimately at the top of the industry in terms of popularity, character work or in ring ability. Oba Femi is just beginning his career. And yes, he is off to a meteoric start. But he still has a long way to go. The positives, he has a great look. Dude is absolutely massive and looks like a Vince McMahon wet dream, tall, jacked, and good looking. He's certain to get a push just based on those criteria. In the ring he does showcase a lot of power, and his moveset has a focus on throwing people, which is fun. But he is yet to really have a great singles match, he gets booked in a lot of scenarios that hide his flaws, either short squashes or multi-man matches where he can get carried if need be. He seems a good 2 to 3 years away from being confident in the ring as a singles competitor. Additionally he isn't comfortable on the mic yet. It's interesting that he has not been paired with a manager yet, as that would also serve to hide his greeness as a talker. Again, he just has a long way to go in that area. But overall for such a newcomer to wrestling, Oba has some elite tools that many would dream of. But tools do not make 10/10 wrestlers, and very few workers who were extremely raw but talented were able to get over as a tippy top guy despite that, like Goldberg for instance. WWE needs to not overpush Oba now when he is so raw, continue to work on him, teach him how to work a crowd, structure and pace a match, and use his power to tell a story. If they can do that, he's a future main event staple in WWE. Until that day, he's just a "What if? "."

[7.0] "Rating a wrestler on "potential" near the start of their career is a bit of a trap that's easy to fall into. Some wrestlers seem very promising early on with a lot of flash and athleticism but never really manage to work on the proverbial music between the notes until the flaws in their game crystallize and you realize that they mostly looked good because they were working almost exclusively with experienced ring generals that could construct matches around their limitations. We'll call this the Velveteen Dream Effect. Oba Femi has, so far, been presented very well in an extremely curated developmental environment. He's extremely charismatic and a pretty good promo, able to guide a receptive small crowd along with him whenever he's given mic time even if his character so far doesn't really have nuance or depth. He's had mostly good matches with opponents of a similar or greater experience level, and doesn't embarrass himself when put into a position where he needs to look good. He's even been involved in a couple outright great matches, like the very well-regarded triple threat match he had a couple years ago or so. With all this in mind I find myself wondering how good he actually is whenever I watch him. He's clearly a better wrestler than Dream as he does seem to grasp the fundamentals of good in-ring work better than Dream ever did, even able to correct for things that could have been bad botches and that's quite commendable. But bear in mind, nearly every match he's had so far has been in a very controlled environment and likely laid out in a pretty careful way that emphasizes his strengths (physically imposing size, crisp execution) and hides his flaws (selling, ability to really tell a story in ring beyond very simple stuff, a bit of clunkiness between big impressive spots). What if he wrestles someone with less experience than him? What if he's wrestling a match and wires get crossed to the point where some improvisation needs to happen to get things back on track? What if he's hit his ceiling already and doesn't really improve or evolve beyond what we already see? These are all valid questions to ask. As of right now, I rather like Oba Femi despite my distaste for WWE for a variety of reasons, and I'm keeping an eye on him as I do feel he's got an actual chance to be a big star compared to the large majority of the NIL hires WWE has brought in. I'm giving him a very generous seven out of ten because I do see the potential in him, even if I acknowledge that this might be a trap I've seen before."

Keith Lee was an outstanding, dominant champ too, WWE severely ballsed up what should have been a certain thing there. 8 for his excellent time in NXT. Can always be adjusted later on."

I feel like he'll get eaten alive on the main roster, there's a huge difference between the performance center where you've trained the audience to react a certain way vs a crowd of 15k that barely know you. We saw it with Melo. I think Oba will get booked better but I don't think he'll stand out enough to be a top guy out of the gate like many are hoping."

His promos feel flat, his presence doesn't click, and nothing about his character stands out. In the ring he leans on basic power spots without any real psychology or escalation, so his matches feel one dimensional. He looks impressive, but the skill and personality needed to make that frame mean something just aren't there yet."

He has no charisma, I have never heard an interesting promo from him, and he doesn't do any gimmicky stuff in the ring. It's unclear what there is to appreciate about him."

He has a great look, he's good on the mic, he's good in-ring, he just has all the necessary tools to be a big player in professional wrestling. I can't rate him higher than a 7 simply because he's still young and has only been in the business for 3 years. He's still in NXT and time will tell as to whether he can get over on the main roster and be a big star. I personally think he can, but I can't go rating him higher than 7 until he proves that and has a steady good amount of years putting on bangers & improving overall."

My only complaint with him is that he hasnt been pushed to the NXT Championship picture yet, but theres no question hes a future main eventer on main roster. HOUGH! UPDATE: he's been absolutely crushing it all year as NXT Champion. The triple threat at Stand and Deliver with Trick and Je'von is right up there with the Night 2 women's triple threat in terms of quality and excitement. And he's even shown flashes of humor by taking on different accents to mock his opponents. Oba is fantastic and I can't wait to see him on main roster."

To me, once he gets on that main roster, it's either main event or bust- he's too good to be twatting around the mid card trading wins and losses with guys like Penta and Finn Balor. He needs to be positioned in a way where he's world champion in a year."

Senka is more impressive due to having even less experience, but Femi can also cut a solid, concise promo to boot. He is the ideal top champion for a developmental brand; giving him experience in high-level matches has only helped him grow as a talent even faster. There is no reason he shouldn't be at the very top of WWE before this decade is over if he continues to deliver on this level, and if he's not then any company on the planet would be lucky to have him. Sky's the limit for the big man and I expect to update this to a 10 once he has more matches and feuds under his belt."

Despite only wrestling for 2 years, he's managed to stand out fantastically thanks to his explosive in-ring style and dominant, commanding presence. But what makes him even better is that he's managed to not only put on some teriffic matches, but also hold his own and put on really good performances against lesser talent, which is surprising for a larger powerhouse wrestler. I do think he needs to expand his moveset a little bit more, mainly in the signatures department, but Oba Femi is no doubt a future main event player in WWE."

That being said, he's still young, and while his dominance in NXT is unquestionable, the real test will come when he hits the main roster. We've seen WWE screw up monster talents before, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle him. For now, he's right where he needs to be--ruling NXT. They're actually booking him well there, and he should stay for a while to keep developing before moving up. There are few wrestlers that can get you as hyped as he can when man handling his opponents. He has decent promo ability which will only improve.
