5 | 23.04.2025 | EugeneEnjoyer | 6.0 | Wakana showed a lot of promise in her rookie year but has stagnated significantly since then, being quickly overtaken by her peers and now even at least one junior. She's likeable, charismatic and a good seller, but her wrestling is still very mediocre with clumsy, slow movements and some of the weakest strikes on the roster (despite once being brought to tears by Aja Kong criticizing her strikes). Her moveset is limited and doesn't look particularly good outside of her snap brainbuster, and while some of her transitions into her finisher have looked good she often struggles to apply it correctly (and not in a "realistic struggle" way, just an awkward way where she can't get her leg in the correct position). All of her active peers have now had many performances far more impressive than Wakana, and not just against seniors that can carry them to a good match. She's much better in tag matches where a partner can cover for her limitations, and perhaps that's why she and Kamiyu (who once upon a time shared many of Wakana's weaknesses) were put in a team together. It does seem that many people are willing to overlook her very obvious shortcomings because they like her personality and the content she puts out outside of the ring (which is fine, but there is such a thing as toxic positivity), and while her pandering to overseas fans is certainly good for her international popularity it could also prove to be a big hinderance to her growth as a wrestler if she lets undue praise go to her head. She is, however, still early into her career and aware of her big shortcomings (namely her clumsiness and limited moveset), so she can and hopefully will improve. |
6 | 22.04.2025 | MG | 8.0 | tons of charisma, tons of energy and tons of stamina. never seen anyone eat so much and stay in great shape. she works a match's storytelling like mad and that's so fun. |

10 | 31.12.2024 | DCity | 7.0 | From 2023's rookie intake, Wakana Uehara has quickly established herself on the TJPW roster thanks to her charisma and in-ring work (her handspring move always gets a big pop! ) TJPW's willingness to take people from the idol/gravure/modelling world and turn them into wrestlers has borne fruit yet again with Wakana becoming a fan favorite - Her team up with HIMAWARI to challenge Daisy Monkey for the tag titles at Yes! Wonderland was one of my favorite matches from 2024. However, we're now getting into the period where she's worked two full years and is transitioning away from being a rookie into becoming an experienced member of the roster; That means expectations are starting to increase and, while Wakana has a phenomenal work ethic, I sometimes get the impression that she's trying a bit too hard to be liked instead of developing a more authentic in-ring persona that feels true to who she really is as a person. 2025 is going to be a really big year for Wakana and she definitely has the talent and the mindset to develop even further as a wrestler, just as long as she's able to carve out a niche for herself. |

12 | 12.11.2024 | Kawaii Dropkick | 7.0 | Ich Kenne Wakana schon seit Dream on the Ring und habe seitdem jedes ihrer Matches verfolgt.
13 | 15.10.2024 | JackBurtonsTruck | 7.0 | She has a lot of potential. As her in ring skills grow they will catch up to her charisma, likability, and look. She is still very fun to watch. |

17 | 02.08.2024 | popo | 5.0 | Although she has potential and is part of the excellent 2023 generation of TJPW, Wakana is the least good of these rookies and the one who has improved the least from her debut. She is charismatic but clumsy and it's hard to connect with her during the fight itself. |
18 | 20.07.2024 | GeneBlastKyodai | 7.0 | Wakana is arguably TJPWs best rookie at the moment. Some wrestlers just get the business in a way that others dont, Wakana is one of those wrestlers who truly understands the business at that level, she has a charisma thats undoubtable and a connection with not just Japanese fans but fans worldwide too. The fact that she came into the business at 27 and is this good already shows that she will continue steadily improving considering her excellent grasp of selling and facial expressions. |

27 | 23.02.2024 | gabriare | | I always find myself orbiting towards great performers, the facials expressions, body language, the way they look at their surroundings... Wakana is great at those with only one year of expirence, she just gets it, she may just be fine at the actual wrestling part of wrestling, but im pretty coffident is just a matter of time until she becomes one of the best in TJPW, maybe in the whole joshi world. Wakanaaa indeed |
28 | 22.01.2024 | rgpick | 7.0 | For someone that is still very new to wrestling, she seems like a natural and wrestles as if she is far more experienced than she is. Immediately likeable as well, she's someone to keep an eye on and should be a major part of TJPW going forward in the coming years. |

32 | 29.12.2023 | Animago | 7.0 | With just a year of experience, Wakana Uehara is already the full package : an all-rounder wrestler with a great look, great at character work, good seller and can competently tell a story in-ring. If she keeps up like this she will become an essential asset for TJPW. |
33 | 24.12.2023 | teenagehonvedfan | 7.0 | For someone with less than a year's in ring experience- she's very good. She's not a 7 really, but considering how new she is and how more over than expected she is, TJPW could be onto a potential winner. There's solid potential to do a nasty idol/good idol feud with Maki there. |

40 | 12.05.2023 | Suzukigun | 7.0 | Wakana has been excellent so far. Despite having less than 20 career matches, she's got excellent charisma and is pretty solid in the ring. For a rookie, it's hard to ask for more. |
