ISHIN has come along a long way in the last year and his improvement doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon."
[10.0] "While this may offend some, for the past year, I've referred to ISHIN as Thicc EITA, because of his God given charisma and his ability to trash talk the crowd. In ring, totally different, and that's where the comparison ends. ISHIN is a beast in the ring, he knows how to work the crowd, and he's dangerous too, because he'll make an ass out of himself, and then just pummel the crap out of his opponent. He's been doing the Big Brain Dance, and I don't think he needs that, as he's got his own gimmick working for him, but dang me, if he doesn't entertain the hell out of me. In some ways, for me, YES FOR ME, he brings that emptiness that I've been missing since Eita left. So I am Team ISHIN, and that's how it's going to be."
[8.0] "ISHIN has found his calling as a heel. Very good in ring skills, but he really shines in the charisma department. Excels at trash talk and entertaining exchanges with his opponents and referees. He is then excellent at bumping around and selling and not afraid to look the fool when he gets his comeuppance. Easily one of most enjoyable acts in Dragon Gate currently."

A few twists and turns but he's finally coming into his own. I think the bulking up is sometimes too much and preferred his leaner six pack look but his match with YAMATO helped to quickly elevate him. As mentioned, I did wonder if he'd splinter off with KAI into a new stable - the current ones are becoming stale and people like KAMEI are hopping around like BXB Hulk. I'd be happy to see ISHIN with KAI and a few select others in the cocky heel alternative to Z-Brats in the future so he can shine even in Tag or Trio matches."
[8.0] "The rebel son of Dragongate's thoroughbred family and my personal pick of 2024's Most Improved Wrestler. ISHIN went from serial midcarder, to a bonafide main eventer overnight after his Dream Gate match against YAMATO in the Korakuen. And what a way for him to get to this point too, comparing ISHIN right now to ISHIN when he first turned heel in 2022 is like comparing two completely different people. And not only that, not only has he bulked up even more, he's finally found himself in character work and the microphone. His mannerisms, physical appearance, and moveset seems to be taken from his fellow Z-Brats compatriot and mentor, KAI. Plus, it looks like the next great Dragongate generational rivalry is set between ISHIN and Mochizuki Jr. The only way is up for the Black Grizzly."
[7.0] "This guy is full of potential, he's good in the ring and he's charismatic. Already found good when he was with his brother, Riki but now he got better and his run as a Brave Gate champion proved it, he got some very good match and his whole run was interesting. I see him at the head of a heel stable one day, he has the potential to be Dragon Gate's top heel."
[8.0] "When I saw ISHIN's father, former pro-wrestler (Koji) Ishinriki, all pieces fell into place and it became obvious why this guy is such a natural in the ring, why he carries himself the way he does and why he has an amazing sense of stability this early into his career. Simply put, he is just another great Dragongate rookie."
