As one-half of the AJPW World Tag Team Champions alongside his brother, Jun Saito had an immensely successful 2024. However, no one could have imagined just how spectacularly his year would end. On 31.12.2024, at AJPW New Year's Eve 2024, Jun defeated Davey Boy Smith Jr. to win the Triple Crown Championship, marking the first major singles title of his career.
