[3.0] "Never really dug this guy as a manager. Had a scepter and a glittery coat, but was just whatever when you had guys like Heenan, Fuji, Slick, and Jimmy Hart on the other side of the fence."

[9.0] "Although he surrounded himself with scoundrels; his voice was so smooth and relaxing in its tone, that it was often hard to buy him as a heel. Seemingly only Vince McMahon also saw this, but never capitalized upon its potential. The pairing with Bam Bam Bigelow seemed perfect, but the two never really went anywhere in the cards (politics? ). I liked his run (and name! ) as "The Big Kahuna" with The Samoan Swat Team. Even though it was brief, his grouping with The Fabulous Freebirds will always be a guilty pleasure (Big Daddy Dink! ). His career is mired by a plethora of "what ifs" and "why so short lived? " (he managed Paul Orndorff for all of a few weeks) but such flaws be damned: I always want to listen to what he has to say, and see what his men are doing. I wish I coulda been a part of The House of Humperdink! 8.75 rounded up."

[8.0] "Great underrated manager! Played the heel role very well. He started out in Montreal managing the Hollywood Blondes and annoyed Quebec fans as they hated his English. Remembered for his time in Florida. As a wrestler he was not good. He won the Manager of the Year Award 1984 by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. In WWF he managed Bam Bam Bigleow."
