Fantastically awful looking ring robe in the late 70's/early 80's, it was hideously cheap and ugly as hell. Not that great but I would never fast forward or outright trash him without appreciation being in the undercurrent. Fairly strong commentator (good voice) and he was a decent figure head authority figure in Texas. In the infamous Kerry Von Erich vs Jerry Lawler blood stoppage title unification match, he is heard saying "He's from Texas, he's used to bleeding" or something to that effect, amazingly stupid. I'm not sorry that I like things that are pretty much trash, you should see my DVD collection. |
