[5.0] "Kidd had a solid foundation, and some pretty good wrestling moves when she did them (good Phoenix Splash, and the Hidden Lotus was actually a solid finisher, even pulled off a good Blue Thunder Bomb every now and then), unfortunately she focused on her slow, unimpressive kicks (she was going for shoot-style kicks while trying to avoid stiffing her opponents, which is admirable but doesn't end up looking too good) and might've been better off doing like Rob Van Dam did, focusing more on worked kicks. Her character never really gained much dimension either, just being "Hello I like anime and JRPGs" without much more depth. Maybe if she'd had that Kenny Omega moment of "I need to move past these surface elements", the sky might have been the limit, but alas this is a rating for what we got, not what could have been. So in short: an impressive, respectable journey, she had a very solid foundation, but what she put on top of that foundation ended up lessening it."

Her character work was fairly consistent and her in-ring abilities were very decent. With more time and given more chances in other promotions, perhaps a mainstream promotion like some other trans wrestlers have gotten, her true potential could have been achieved."

She had the look, she was really fun to watch, she had the charisma, I genuinely think that she should and would've been a massive deal under even slightly better circumstances. I hope T4T Wrestling works out for her, but either way, sad to see her hang it up. Definition of being here for a good time, not a long one."

Before long, Bandit will put all the pieces together - and will always have a fan in me. Her matches are improving, her movements in the ring are improving, her wrestling IQ is rising, all it takes is time in the ring - and she's getting plenty of that again. Can't wait to see her continue to rise in 2026."

An absolute inspiration and a solid pro wrestler, there's so much I can say about her because she is one of my favourites of all time and her commitment to keep getting up after every set back is something that motivates me to get up every day because I relate to her a lot. She's the absolute best and I wish her luck in her future, cause she's awesome :]"

I MAY be biased (just a bit) as she got me back INTO wrestling back in 2022 with her helpful persona and her allowing me to talk to her multiple times over Twitter, and as a trans woman myself, but after watching her match with ZSJ, she has improved since getting injured at the end of 2023. However, she does have some stuff to work on promo-wise (as I haven't seen a promo from her since her injury), but overall, she can work a great match, and that's all I need from a pro wrestler. 9/10. Welcome back, Kidd."

I say give her a bit more time in the indies and she would be ready to go on to an even bigger stage."

[9.0] "Kidd Bandit is a new face in the wrestling business and a welcome one at that. While she does need a little more work on the mic, Kidd is incredibly hard-working and her effort pays off in her matches. She has a very unique style comprised of innovative spins on pre-established moves. If you watch a Kidd Bandit match, you are almost guaranteed to see something that no one else does. Sometimes this does come back to bite her in the form of convoluted finishing maneuvers such as Dance of The Fire God and Reaper of Death Seal. Nonetheless, Kidds control and agility is astounding and she clearly has immense talent that can only be improved upon as she pursues her career. On top of her wrestling ability, her character and persona are clearly based on her real life interests and it presents an authentic symbol of how geekdom has a place in wrestling. Overall, it is true that Kidd Bandit has room to grow as a performer, but in her current form, she is an incredible prospect with the potential to be a big name, She might not be in the position to make an attack on the titans of industry, but she does have the power to go beyond. Until then, I will stay tuned to the journey of the Protagonist of Pro Wrestling!"

Her anime physics based offense is super cool and her kicks are dope her social media game is great, which no matter how much y'all try to dunk on her is an incredibly important aspect to being a wrestler especially on the indies. She's made incredible progress in her career and is a inspiring story for Transgender wrestlers and wrestling fans. And I will repeat myself she's done this all in 2 freaking years. She's on the shelf as of writing this review, but expect her to come back better than ever and continue to make a huge splash on the American indie scene."

Overall Kidd Bandit is still young and as they mature and get older and less green they could become a very popular indie star, But for right now they are too social media motivated."

They got big for the use of social media and preying on us weebs as the protagonist of wrestling and yeah the flippy stuff and kicks are cool to watch but at the end of the day if Bandit wants to tell a story in the ring they need to set up spots and deliver more impact. I also thought Bandit was better wrestling men as an almost cruiserweight throwback then competing against women, but whatever makes them happy at the end of the day."

Bandit is one of the most unique wrestlers I have ever seen. From the look to the unusual offense to their incredible charisma & presence yeah, they have what it takes to be a huge star in pro-wrestling. The skills are still a bit raw, but theyre less than 2 years into their career and Im sure theyll quickly improve. I cant wait to see it happen! Their ceiling is high."

Her matches feel more like a highlight reel designed to be chopped up and shared in small fragments on social media rather than an actual match. Those bite size chunks can indeed be impressive, but watching an actual match of hers is frequently underwhelming and mostly nonsensical. Think of it this way; she has the materials to build a house, but no plans to go on and no foundation poured and set, so she seems to be winging it in construction. If she finds the plans and sets the foundation, she'll have a very nice house. If she doesn't, it will be a house prone to collapse. For now, a 2. Hopefully a better score in future."

[3.0] "Kidd Bandit is very good at convincing people that she's the next big thing, or at least pandering to people through basic anime references, horny cosplaying, and ticking every checkbox that a teenager would find appealing on social media. Bandit's strongest ability is not in the ring or in her promos, but being able to promote her existence through constant usage of Twitter and talking like a millennial journalist working for an anime/gaming website trying to clickbait people through the lowest hanging fruit possible, and claiming to not be corporate influenced despite being trained by AEW's personal coach and former EVP and getting on Dark early into her career. It exudes such a fake and disingenuous aura to not only the character, but the person as well. It's a great ability to have, and as long as nobody watches your matches you can get very far using this tactic to your advantage, similar to Warhorse or Effy. However, watching the limited amount of matches/promos Bandit has, you see an obviously green wrestler trying to do overly flashy moves regardless of whether they connect, have any fluidity, or make sense - like she's overdoing her martial arts gym moves in the ring to show off in a talent agent demo reel for a stuntwoman spot on a TV show, and you hear promos with a shaky voice and the old fallback of yelling in an attempt to make things seem more "intense." Kidd Bandit is still a rookie just like any other, maybe even a little worse in-ring and promo-wise, with a character, attitude, and presentation that's just insultingly shallow and stereotypical."

Interesting gimmick, not bad skills in the ring, but so far nothing more. Having the experience of performing in just a year, Bandit was able to attract a lot of attention to himself, mainly with the help of social networks, but so far I see him as just a not particularly remarkable green indie wrestler."

I have no earthly idea how you could rate a rookie with a weird weeb gimmick a 10, it's a fun novelty but it's just that. It's not the next big thing, I remember people begging national league promotions to sign them and it's just, no idea why."

I look forward to Kidds 2nd year of wrestling and to continue their journey."

I do like her as a person and wrestler though and she does show up when she needs to."

I genuinely don't understand the comments that snipe at Kidd for being a heavy presence on social media (how else does one get bookings when one is an indie wrestler? Self-promotion is part of the game...). Discarding those (and, indeed, ignoring everything but in-ring work) I think KB has a long career ahead of them. I think that their match against Malakai Black on 9/17 is going to be what really tells the story, though."

I'll still go ahead and briefly cover the various annoyances with this wrestler, though. Bandit is the epitome of a "movez" indie wrestler, who thinks hitting lots of complex spots is all that matters, even if the technique and resulting impact of those spots is quite underwhelming, and even if they've never made any attempts at compelling psychology or storytelling. I also find Bandit's self-marketing attempts as this "game-changing talent" very off-putting, again as 7PercentAquila has already explained. That self-absorbed attitude sadly also seeps into the character work in their matches, with them then coming off immensely arrogant with how they openly wear their delusions of grandeur on their sleeve. I at least see some mild amount of talent in their various flashy spots, but it's going to take a lot of work on wrestling fundamentals and probably also a change in gimmick before I can take Bandit seriously as a wrestler."

I think some people are questioning how much of their appeal goes past cosplay and kawaii antics, but looking at the ring work itself, the nice medley of fighting game-inspired striking and kicking, well-executed use of popular signatures and finishers, and a well-developed sense for selling, crowd work, showing personality and investing others in their gimmick and matches, Kidd Bandit is going to be hot on the indie scene and beyond for quite some time. If I had to be critical, I think we just haven't seen enough of Kidd Bandit in the long form. A key feud and some supplementary mic work are the only things I can think of as to what missing from rightfully silencing bad faith critics, non-believers or people who are simply not comfortable giving a non-binary person props."
