[10.0] "Very good in the ring - & he bleeds DC. As someone who grew up very close to that city his character basically embodies a DC hood dude. And it works very well for him as a gimmick especially since hes out of darkstate now. I hope he leans more into his persona because its 1000% authentic"
[10.0] "I enjoy Lucky Ali/Saquon Shugars wrestling and he is really underrated too, so I suggest looking for his matches before his time in WWE but I would say that he's doing good in WWE as well."
[8.0] "I feel like a majority of the ratings on the lower scale are judging him simply off of his current NXT work, but Lucky Ali is one of the most complete young stars in the world right now, as shown in his work in indy companies like DPW. Good in ring skills, great look, and incredible promo skills. Hopefully now that he is out of Darkstate he can actually showcase his ability in a top company."
[0.0] "Saquon Shugars' presentation feels unfocused and unintentionally comedic, which undercuts any attempt at being taken seriously as a performer. His gear choices clash with the persona he seems to be going for, making the character feel more like a parody than a deliberate gimmick. Combined with a ring name that doesn't match his style or presence, the overall package comes off as awkward rather than entertaining. When a wrestler's look, name, and character don't align, it becomes hard for fans to invest -- and that disconnect drags down the entire act."
[8.0] "Underrated! That's all I'll say. His promo skills are fantastic and easily the best kept secret in NXT. I like Darkstate but I feel Shugars and Lennox will do well by themselves in the future."
[6.0] "Saquon Shugars is ok but an overall rating above eight is actually crazy the man is still green and hasn't had any major improvements yet to grant him this high rating his promos are so good but his in ring work is above average"
[8.0] "Easily the best member of Darkstate right now but that's also the biggest problem. He's extremely talented and explosive in the ring, and his mic work is underrated as hell, but I fear being stuck in a middling faction struggling to find its footing will bog him down. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that the rest of Darkstate can improve along with him over time, but for now, it feels his true potential is being limited."
[8.0] "Saquon Sugars, formerly Lucky Ali on the indies and in DPW, is one of my most hyped prospects at the moment. An absolute killer on the mic, with a real Eddie Kingston kinda vibe. He has this sense of reality and authenticity built into each promo. His moveset is also cool to watch and links into that, I particularly like the Grime Line and Junkie Driver as finishers. His run in NXT so far has been good, being the best part of Darkstate by far and having some pretty decent tag matches. I can easily see him getting a big singles push in NXT once Darkstate runs its course, and he'd be a great heel champ, as he already proved with his title run in DPW."
[10.0] "I know it's probably to early to give such a rating, but he is the MVP of the Darkstate faction. He has the in-ring skils and can put awesome matches, but one thing that Shugars has, that the others don't, is the ability to imprint some realism in the promos. If the faction succeds in some way, you are lookjng to the next NXT champion."
[7.0] "Lucky Ali has all that it takes to make it in this industry. He has a great look, he cuts solid to great promos, and he has an impressive and unique move set. The sky is the limit for him. I believe it would be wise for HHH or TK to sign Lucky Ali."
[8.0] "There is star potential written on this dude, god fucking lord. He is amazing in ring and his promos are amazing. He had a very VERY good feud with Kidd Bandit in DPW and his work with NJOA has been very fun to watch. I feel like if he goes to a company like AEW, WWE or even NJPW itself, he could be a major star. I bet you he will be a world heavyweight champ in the next 5 years. Future legend for sure, an 8 for now"
[10.0] "ABSOLUTE STAR POTENTIAL really hope the boys at DPW don't sleep on him. He's like Velveteen Dream (before he was a piece of shit) mixed with a bit of MJF. Hopefully DPW champ one day if not a future AEW or NXT superstar."
[9.0] "Lucky Ali is defined by striking character work and a style that doesn't contrast too heavily with the gimmick. Whether you've seen his dickheadness excel in DPW, or his stiff craziness in NJPW, Lucky Ali isn't one to ignore."
