[7.0] "Another enormously talented wrestler who sabotaged her own career: for many years I wondered why somebody as insanely talented as Ayako Hamada had so little in the way of mainstream exposure. Yes, over the years she has worked for TNA, GAEA and OZ Academy to name but a few but while she always started strong her tenure always ended with a whimper. Yes, for TNA one can blame the head office, but in the other cases there was no clear explanation. I mean: Ayako Hamada was simply insane in the ring and before she started putting on weight she had a good marketable look as well. Then in 2018 we found out why promoters were so wary of pushing her. I'll add that she had far more luck than most not getting caught in a similar scandal before."

[8.0] "Ayako Hamada is a great worker, who didn't have the run in TNA that her talents deserved, although the same can be said of a lot of wrestlers. Such is the peril of having people in charge who don't know what they're doing. Currently retired due to poor personal choices, Hamada will hopefully be back once everything blown over, although it may take a while for that to happen."

[10.0] "I am really glad to see that her short stint in TNA, wrestling the likes of the Beautiful People, Traci & ODB, has not hurt her ratings too much. Although, when checking her ratings, Hamada received all 3 of her 6's and her only 3 rating (WTF? ) while working for TNA. Man, TNA really dropped the ball not paying to keep her around. Ditto, Cheerleader Melissa, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim and Nikki Roxx. Sigh, so long as they kept Christy, Brooke & the Beautiful People, I guess... At any rate, as mentioned by other inmates, Hamada could do it all and do it all well, winning over crowds and earning mad respect in Japan, Mexico and the U. S. along the way. Her fans won't forget her anytime soon."

[9.0] "Hamada is one of the best female wrestlers in the world today. She can wrestle practically any style, whether high flying, technical, or strong style. Even without saying a word, she gets the crowd going as a face or heel. Hamada is a fantastic worker, and has fantastic matches. I am a huge fan of hers."
