Her match Thursday night on TNA has gone completely viral on social media because of an unexpected moveset that included a reverse bronco buster and many people are excited to see her return from a major injury. Her performance was nothing short of electrifying. A powerful display of athleticism, charisma and heart that reminded fans why she's one of the most promising stars in wrestling today. She seems to be making great progress in her recovery, finally cleared from medical and was able to remove her leg braces. During her TNA match, she performed other familiar martial arts moves, landing some serious kicks to her opponents in the ring. It's clear that Nikkita Lyons is back and if she stays on course, could become more popular than ever."

While I do think she could improve and work as a heel, it will take a while I fear for her to get back to her previous level of fan support and in-ring quality. She clearly has a passion for wrestling and has shown she will work hard to succeed, but it is also a case of knowing that she clearly doesn't have much more time left before she is left widdling away in the under card or (what I think would do wonders for her) just moving into the role of a manager. She clearly has the charisma and mic abilities for it, and it would keep her around without having to risk more injuries."

I do not believe that Nikkita Lyons's heart and dedication are truly all-in on professional wrestling, and it painfully shows in her complete lack of aptitude or improvement."

In the ring she is very poor. She throws a lot of kicks, some of which look good, but some really don't, she's a big girl but doesn't really have much strength or power, her basic offense always looks sloppy, she either sells poorly or not at all and she gasses early so can't really wrestle for more than a few minutes. Her promos are even worse than her wrestling, granted the lines and catchphrases she's given are absolutely horrific but even so, there is no excuse for how bad her delivery of the lines are and there is no hint of charisma there either. She has a decent, but certainly not amazing look and her gear is horrendous. She's 23 so I suppose she has time to improve, but I'd be very surprised if she's ever anything more than an Instagram model."

As of now, not a star, not a draw, awful in the ring."

Apparently a big ass and a bit of martial arts are all it takes to make a good worker. She wrestled mainly squash matches for the first few months and that was enough to impress some fans because she has some cool kicks. After seeing her gas and botch her way through a 5 to 6 minute match with Mandy Rose (hardly the longest match), Lyons is less than mid and still needs a ton of training. Take away the kicks and splits finisher and she's really nothing. Not helped by a terrible culture vulture gimmick slipping into bad impressions of AAVE. This new NXT understandably has its detractors but there are better women in that division."
