[8.0] "Luke Jacobs brings a lot of intensity to his matches. His lariats look vicious, his strikes have weight behind them, and he makes the struggle to put an opponent away feel convincing. His matches with Ishii are a great showcase of what he does best. There's a clear love for Japanese heavyweight wrestling in his style, but he has the ability to make it work beyond just copying familiar moves. A more distinctive character would help round out the overall package, but his wrestling alone makes him well worth watching."
[9.0] "I still don't know how WWE/AEW hasn't signed him yet he 25 years old and he has a good look and insanely great wrestler. I hope he could get sign with a major company sooner or later. Personally hope he goes to ROH/Ring Of Honor so he could be ROH World Champion."
[10.0] "Simply one of the best talents going on the indie scene was not a fan at first because of how highly rated this guy is did not understand the hype at first but oh man how I was proven wrong. Hard worker that understands how to be a champion of a company could easily fit into any company great talent that is at the peak of his career easily could get another 8-10 years out of him if he keeps up the hard work."
[9.0] "An amazing wrestler and an amazing guy I've had the pleasure to meet in the backstage, he's the best young UK wrestler in the world right now and I'm sure he will reach the top of the wrestling world in a few years"
[8.0] "I like Luke Jacobs. He perfectly embodies the spirit of Puro cosplay in the best way possible if that makes sense. Luke Jacobs is one of those guys who'd have probably get mocked in Japan like Samoa Joe was mocked by the Japanese in NOAH because he emulates so much of King's Road/Strong Style, and I think that it sets him apart from the usually Jr style that the UK indies seem to have in abundance. There are a few things that I do think he should improve on, mainly his selling. But, if you were to put him on national television, and just let him work, and let him shine, he'd make for a great upper-midcarder/main-eventer."
[8.0] "Luke Jacobs from seeing his matches In DPW Carolina Classic I was instantly hooked on him as a Young Gun! He's able to hit hard like a brawler and move like a junior heavyweight and 2024 has been a great year for him amassing a good amount of gold in the UK and can be a great asses for any promotion, looking forward to seeing how far his potential can take him!"
[8.0] "[Updated rating] Luke Jacobs is talented and has a good grasp of wrestling psychology. He is coming off a very strong match with Ricky Knight Jr. If he can improve his look and physique a bit, he has star potential."
[8.0] "Good, hard-hitting wrestler with the potential to do big things, probably in a company like NOAH (already doing a great job in the British scene). Usually entertaining and one of the better performers."
[10.0] "Luke Jacobs is the biggest name in the entire United Kingdom independent wrestling scene. His rise from a cruiserweight back in 2018 with Ethan Allen as the young guns became the best junior heavyweight tag team post pandemic. Luke Jacobs came around the attention of promoters during his run in OnePro defeating Junior heavyweight and traditional heavyweights with powerbombs and lariats. And then he returned to the spotlight in RevPro, clashing heads with his classic battles between King of the Cruiserweights, the Stone Pitbull, the true grit and his greatest rival yet, the master of the half crab Michael Oku whom defeated in the Cooper box to become the undisputed British heavyweight champion and while being the progress world champion at the same time. North West Strongs finest!"
[8.0] "Amazing Hoss monster. I was in attendance for both of his matches with Tomohiro Ishii and they were stellar. His match against JJ Gale is also a must watch, it's actually on YouTube too. Rating an 8 because he's still young and has time to reach his full potential and I haven't heard any promos from him so I can't judge on that front."
[9.0] "He has so much potential with his excellent striking and grappling, that lariat is so juicy. he's getting a lot of good exposure and improving very fast. It might be too much of a title and narrow his identity to call him the next Walter but I definitely see him that way. Only good things could happen to him in the future."
[9.0] "He is great and improving, he is an amazing striker and has a good grappling game, an overall amazing powerhouss. Every time I see him I am impressed, his British J Cup performance put him on the map as a singles wrestlers for the first time for me, his match with RKJ was amazing and he has started to show his charisma, his match against Michael Oku was so good - one of the best of the year, he has been constantly been improving and deserves a much higher rating."
[8.0] "What I have seen so far suggests a very good wrestler. His range of suplexes dumping people on there head and lariats suggests he loves himself a bit of 90s All Japan. Watch him in Rev Pro and the north west feds rather than zombie Progress as looking at results they appear even more clueless than ever. Whack him on your one to watch lists."
