[9.0] "Andrei Kopylov was one of the many amazing grapplers to come out of Russia for RINGS, along with Volk Han, Mikhail Ilyukhin, and Sergei Sousserov. Eventually, he was a part of Volk Han's Russia Top Team for MMA. By far one of the best professional wrestlers to come out of Russia. Like the other names mentioned, he was able to implement his knowledge of "combat sambo" in a shoot-style setting perfectly. He didn't have the amazing consistency like Volk Han or Mikhail Ilyukhin, but he had more good matches than bad ones. Definitely one of the more underappreciated names when it comes to discussing shoot-style and pro wrestling in the 90s."
