[6.0] "This has to be the most difficult rating I've ever done in the site, because this guy has a very complex story. Many people in the chilean circuit have pointed out that Vortex wasn't a proficent technician in the ring like his father was. This actually has an explanation: Hugo Roa, the man behind the mask of Ángel Blanco de San Antonio, had a wrestling ring in his house yard, and trained many of the future renowned names in the San Antonio scene. However, at the same time, Mr. Roa wasn't down with the idea of his sons Daniel and Franco venturing into wrestling, and refused to let them take part in his training sessions. The kids had to look elsewhere so, after a while, they managed to get trained by former Titanes del Ring member El Hombre Araña. While they learned some wrestling stuff, their trainer was too old and long past his prime, so their training routine wasn't very succesful. When they finally ventured into shows, Franco Roa went by his real name, while Daniel adopted the character of Vortex. The guy got involved in almost every emergent wrestling project in the 2000's, including South-American Wrestling Association, Chile Wrestling Now, and even Revolución Lucha Libre. He was also the founder of Real Academia de Lucha Libre, a promotion that run for almost seven years in San Antonio. While the guy had some talent and charisma, he wasn't great in the ring, and also had many technical blanks. Many of his colleagues have pointed out that Vortex was a difficult person to deal with backstage; one of the most well-known stories in the chilean wrestling circuit is about the extremely heated relationship between him and fellow wrestler Montoya during the first RLL years. His utopical views on the sport, where he claimed that "wrestling is art, not business" actually got on the nerves of many of his colleagues. On the other hand, this guy was pivotal on impulsing wrestling in San Antonio. His YouTube channel has become also a great contribution to chilean wrestling, as it features all episodes of Titanes del Ring and SWA; this is actually wrestling material that many thought for years that were just another "lost media" of chilean wrestling."

[7.0] "Daniel Roa is wrestling royalty, being one of the last "Titanes del Ring" (the first troupe of Chilean wrestlers) and coming from a family that was a fan of the sport. He is best remembered for his character "VORTEX" where on the SWA television show he had to wrestle many bodybuilders who were not trained wrestlers and make them look good on camera. Vortex is the type of veteran that any company needs to elevate talents that perhaps do not yet understand ring psychology. A wrestler far ahead of his time who perhaps would have shone more in the Chilean wrestling boom that occurred in 2016."
