[9.0] "I would've given him an 8 before last year, but in the past year Dia has stepped up his game by a LOT, especially since the end of 2024 with his King of Gate win and Dream Gate challenge. If you've only seen him in BOSJ, you have no idea what he can do at his peak. New Japan doesn't book him strongly as an outsider. He was usually in contention for Dragongate's middleweight Brave Gate title, but ever since mid-2024 they've been pushing him more as a top star, and he's risen to meet that challenge."
[7.0] "From what I've seen from Dia in New Japan (have no way to catch up with Dragon Gate), he's been solid. His BOSJ 31 run was a nice introduction for him and he did alright in SJTL. Hopefully he continues to get better and improve from there."
[8.0] "Recently got into Dragongate as a promotion and Dia was one of the people that caught my eye immediately. He has an insane move-set and can go at 1000 miles an hour. His matches with his mask and without are both incredible and Im interested to see how he grows."
[8.0] "Dragongate's second-best wrestler of 2024. When I think of the Brave Gate championship, I immediately think of Dia. This year, he's improved significantly after an alright 2023, but this is not possible if he never had his BOSJ appearance (yeah he lost almost all his matches but still). However, what set him apart was his incredible match against YAMATO for the Dream/Brave Gate, where he showed he can be a main-event contender in Dragongate, and a star in Japanese junior heavyweight wrestling for years to come."
"Dragon got my attention during this year's SJTL and I was blown away by the pace at which he works at. I will definitely be checking out more of his work in DG soon."
[7.0] "Dragon DIAAAAH such an iconic anime-like theme and a great moveset with some little charisma. Bouncing back on the little kind. He is the future of Japanese lucha libre while being a X2 Open the brave gate title, his matchup with Junta Miyawaki grew his stock by defeating the newest member of the NOAH roster, a fellow trainee of the dragon kid lucha style. Overall his future is bright but his past even as champion in the past didnt connect with critics or management. His DDDDT is awesome through."
[6.0] "Dragon Dia should be an 8. He's pretty young and has a bright future ahead of him. 2024 hasn't really been the Year of the Dragon for him. He's been very inconsistent most of the time and has had some below par matches now and again. He's alright overall but he's not something that's must-see."
[8.0] "I assumed Dia would fill the comfortable but important role as the successor to Dragon Kid as he was poised to however he has gone down a completely different path having reinvented himself as a Skater Boy. I think he's a natural fit in this role and alongside Yoshioka forms the best tandem in DG right now. Also has potential to be a top singles guy which I'm sure he will show more of during his Brave Gate reign."
[8.0] "Dragon Dia is an incredibly impressive high-flyer who is very technically sound, especially for someone so young. Rarely a match goes by that he does not do something that makes me shake my head in amazement or appreciation. He is looking like a worthy successor to Dragon Kid and the vaunted "Dragon" name."
