AKIRA debuted on the American independent circuit in 2018 and quickly made a name for himself before signing with MLW in 2023. Since then, he has become a top star for Major League Wrestling and has regularly performed for Big Japan Pro Wrestling. On 29.03.2025 at Korakuen Hall, AKIRA defeated Hideyoshi Kamitani to win the BJW Death Match Heavyweight Title, marking his first title victory in Japan. Congratulations to AKIRA for becoming the new Death Match Heavyweight Champion, as well as being voted our Superstar Of The Week!
