"I know him personally, he is a nice guy, and yes, he was the first person to bench press over 700lbs. Yes, he did use steroids. I know him personaly because I am a dairy farmer and we rent a feild from him located in Milford, NH"

[2.0] "One of those nearly immobile human brickwalls (this one on the shorter side) made of 110% steroids & negative ten percent talent. Matt Borne dragged out a few watchable endeavors and even had him bump for some German Suplexes! otherwise, he's the s#its. EDIT: I wrote that on Nov 8th 2021, what's changed is watching the Matt Borne matches again. Ted Arcidi's BEST match is on World Class Championship Wrestling, episode July 18th 1987. It's a no problem affair and makes me think "what if Hercules Hernandez lived long enough to truly devolve", that might sound like a super harsh criticism but it still shows Ted almost had a something and it speaks VOLUMES of Matt Borne's talent. Things like this (legit fine matches and notable chemistry with someone) will always help a case. 1.75"

[4.0] "To say he was rushed is an understatement. He broke the world bench press record in March of 1985, later that year he was receiving a mid card push in the biggest promotion on the planet. In fairness to Ted and Vince, he was a glorified placeholder until Ken Patera served his prison sentence and then Ted was released.. He never developed the necessary skills to take his career futher and thus was more of an attraction than a wrestler. The 705lb bench press is not kayfabe and was a legitimate world record. After his wresting journey, he went back to powerlifiting. I usually give attractions a 6, but he wasn't around long enough to merit that rating."

Good 80's powerhouse but that's all."

[5.0] "Ted Arcidi played his role well as a powerhouse/big brute but really lacks the wrestling abilities and charisma which is the reason why he didn't get over in the WWF or any promotion he wrestled for that matter. A lot of bodybuilders who try out wrestling often fail, the only one that is really successful is Mark Henry."
