From what I have seen of him in the ring he is solid and has a lot of potential to grow into his father's spot on the card."

[9.0] "There are two types of fans regarding Atlantis Jr., those who think he can't wrestle and those who have actually seen his matches. The general opinion about him online follows the same pattern we've seen over and over with top company babyface prospects, that he is overpushed and doesn't deserve his accolades. To me that is unfair and Atlantis Jr has been proving himself time and time again, as his explosive and crisp wrestling style constantly wins over the largely casual crowds CMLL draws on Friday nights. On the opposite, whenever CMLL brings an AEW star to their shows, Arena Mexico gets filled with more knowledgeable fans that shower him with overwhelmingly negative reactions. This shows the hate he receives comes from prejudice and not based on his performance, in my opinion Atlantis Jr has all the tools to become a huge star and a major player in lucha libre and has a bright career ahead both in Mexico and internationally."

I have never seen a good match out of him where I can say he was the better wrestler in the combination, and while there is certainly potential to get better in the following years it will take a lot for the promoters to make me care about the nepo baby."

Atlantis Jr. Brings back the feelings of old school 90s lucha that I fel in love with and feel has been missing but that should be no surprise given his lineage. The guy gets some of the best reactions of the night off of tilt-a-whirl backbreakers for crying out loud. Atlantis Jr. More than lives up to his namesake and given time I definitely see him living up to his father's amazing legacy, all he needs is time and the right masks to snag."

His peak was gaining the mask of Stuka Jr. at the Anniversary show, but has since still done well, appearing in many of the best matches of CMLL since I started watching. He seems to be a bit on the backburner right now, but still an important part."

[9.0] "Seeing all these low ratings is a great reminder that it takes time for young wrestlers to develop. In 2022 Atlantis Jr has stepped up, did great main eventing a show with over 10, 000 in attendance and feels like a big deal on the indies. Can work valiant babyface or heel with a chip on his shoulder depending on the crowd. Just an all around great talent that's been a highlight of lucha libre in 2022"

[3.0] "Atlantis Jr is not merely still extremely inexperienced in the ring but has already been cleared to do moves in the ring he is obviously still not comfortable with. Some of his planchas look downright nasty. I am not saying it's a recipe for disaster but it's immediately apparent the young man has been rushed through the ranks and is having a certain style forced upon him instead of allowing him to gain experience while developing a moveset he's fully comfortable with. This is not all his fault because bookers should know best, but all this rush of having him fill a position similar to his father's won't win him any friends nor fans."
