He is great in the ring and has been a great promo and character worker for quite a while, but his time in AEW was full of...well nothing. The most he did was a very minor feud with MJF which was solely because of MJF's gimmick being low hanging fruit and who BPJ's father happened to be. Aside from that, Pillman leaving AEW to go to NXT has done wonders for him and his career. He has put on some great matches and stays a very important character on nearly every week of television. I do hope that we get to see him thrive and succeed in his new place of employment. |
