Of course, his feud with Bruno diminished the spotlight he had set after beating the piss out of Jay Strongbow, but there is still lot you can learn watching his stuff. The Golden Greek is a legitimately awesome figure, and there is no reason to put a low rating. I give a seven, because I don't think the world had much of a chance to understand his style."

[1.0] "A great example of a guy who can not hold my interest, even if I gift wrapped it and gave it to him in a basket. Utterly uncompelling and lack luster, didn't even look like much of a wrestler. A whopping majority of the '70's New York/WWWF stuff just isn't that great. 0.5 rounded up, I don't fast forward so much as I waltz off to water the plants. PASS!"

He had all the makings of an epic tag team with Strongbow, but the Valiants were still too big of a draw. Had an amazing heel turn on Strongbow as they were on the cusp of getting the belts. Defeating Strongbow in singles matches set him up for a very strong run at Sammartino. Bruno held him off, but Arion stuck around. His run at Backlund though felt a little recycled and never captured the intensity of his run on Sammartino. After failing to get the belt, and then losing to Strongbow in both tag and singles matches, Arion called it a career. ""
